godzilla vs mechagodzilla one of the best in my opinion that I saw as a kid.

RiptorCPV those are both awesome. I think the IDW are pretty good I am patiently waiting for Godzilla Rulers of Earth series to start in June and the first battle that Big-G gets into is with the 98 Godzilla or as Toho calls him Zilla. I think that this series is going to be the best because IDW has the license from Toho to use most if not all of the Monsters we came to know an love in the Godzilla movies. Keep up the great work and I look forward to your next drawing

Back in the day I'm 16 now but when I was 7 I watched one of the one from the 70's where he gigan and the other one when he fought megalon godzilla back in the was amazing too me I love the older one's more than the new one's honestly because it's nostalgic too me it had it's own feel too it besides the new one's they kinda have that feel but the older one's are the best too me.

I would have to go with Destroyah. That's my personal favorite movie and my second favorite monster. Destroyah very nearly did kill Godzilla and his body is composed of Godzilla's largest known weakness, micro-oxygen. Plus, Destroyah is like an infestation. Imagine if Destroyah and Godzilla were real, what if Godzilla lost? Destroyah would revert back to a smaller form and then reproduce rapidly. Destroyah would eliminate humanity in a matter of weeks. Gigan is also a favorite of mine, though.

I'm no sure how being only a sock it looks suuuper cute :B

I think that the radiation leak would be the ideal starting point for how Godzilla became GODZILLA. I think that the will pay a little homage to the original. I do not want a love story or a monster that runs away all the time. And as long as they stray as far away from the 98 movie as possible I will be completely happy.

Having Godzilla go on a rampage through japan before moving to the US and facing off against an even bigger monster (which he defeats) would be cool. Japan earthquake/tsunami and subsequent radiation leak would be a good basis for him appearing. 100% faith in darabont to be honest... Bryan Cranston as Dr. Serizawa fingers crossed.

i would have to agree the main reason why gigan is my second favorite character in godzilla is because he looks so cool. especially the buzzsaw on his chest.

400 feet like the original. Raymond Burr said as tall as a 40 story building. He needs to be massive and cause massive destruction.

Chris picard, I would have to say you got that right. Also Reggie, I like Gigian and I thought hedora was great!! now megalon was a product of a little to much LSD, I think lol. And lets not forget Baragon, that thing has no place in toho but some how has managed to be in feew movies ..

Good question...I'd like to see 275 - 300 ft or so, I guess Heisei. That hint pic with the buildings thrashed / tipped over would indicate a massive monster.

Megalon, Gaberah, Hedorah and Gigan with Titanasaurus as an honorable mention terrible monsters stupid designs, annoying sounds and cheesey powers.

I'd say Gaberah also. Although I've never been a huge fan of Jet Jaguar either, haha. I actually liked Ebirah, I think he could make a comeback and kick some ass. But Gaberah, no way.

i would have to say gigan because he is my second favorite monster in godzilla right after godzilla and my 4rth favorite monster of all time after godzilla, gamera, and king kong. i like him because he looks awesome he has the buzzsaw and the blades and his metal tusk. he just looks real cool.

I'm only 25 but I'm pretty sure I am more dedicated than 75% of you so-called "G-Fans" here.

I can also honestly say that I own and have seen EVERY Godzilla movie there is...from the ORIGINAL 1954 Gojira to Final Wars. This is the only movie, among ALL the really good looking movies I've seen anything about, that I am determined to see in theaters. Did I mention that I have ALL of the comics, too?

I was born a G-Fan, no bs. I can't remember not loving Godzilla. It helps that my dad loves these kind of movies, I'll admit that. My first Godzilla movie ever was the original 1954 Gojira. Sure, this fascination is related to my love of dinosaurs...but Godzilla was what made me interested in dinosaurs, not the opposite. I love Godzilla because he is an unstoppable force that we can do nothing against but hide and wait for it to pass, like a tornado or hurricane...the concept is meant to put us in our place in nature...to make us understand just how small and fragile we really are as humans. For those ppl here that say that the 1998 movie was what got them interested...you are not true G-Fans...Godzilla IS NOT an irradiated IGUANA, he DOES NOT blow "fire", and YOU CANNOT KILL HIM! GOJIRA FOREVER!!!

my very 1st post what a website !! was Blue Oyster Cult that got me into the big guy properly id seen a few of the films but was really into BOC when they released Spectres 1st ever gig i went to was BOC at Liverpool Empire (UK) and the drum solo featured Albert Bouchard doing this amazing set with a Godzilla mask on and there were lazers everywhere went home and was sold now almost 30 years later i have nearly 2000 Godzy pieces from Bandai stuff to original japanese cinema posters to unofficial money boxes cannot wait for the new film

I have a pair from Arthur Adams from the 90s and I liked them a lot. Are the IDW something like the old ones? I can't buy them in my country and I'd like to know...

you got red king, gamera, godzilla, mothra, rodan, the last monster from ultra man i believe and the big blue thing i know from some where but i forgot the name. i dont know the rest though.

i like it i didnt read through the whole thing but i thought that the idea's and stuff you had were pretty cool. i like how you made your own monsters because i make new monsters myself. great story dood.

That's an awesome illustration. You should pitch your work to IDW. I believe they are the company that is currently doing the Godzilla comic book series which I'm ashamed to admit I have not stay on top of.
