AdminSpaceGodzillaMay-11-2013 7:22 PMAs we know that Gareth Edwards' [b]Godzilla (2014)[/b] will be hitting theaters in both 3D and 2D, I'm curious to know how many of you are actually planning to see the 3D version?
3D has been a common trend for a while now, it seems every film is available or is actually shot in 3D. However, this past year is the first year, theaters have seen a decline in 3D movie sales. Many people prefer 2D for a few reasons; for some it causes headaches, some don't like wearing glasses while you sit through a movie, others find the 3D effect isn't even that noticeable in some films and think the extra surcharge is a money-grab.

Issues with 3D aside, I plan to see [b]Godzilla 2014[/b] in 3D, because the cinemas that offer it 3D tend to be better all around than the ones offering the same film in 2D. Bigger, louder speakers, better seats, etc.. and not to mention, [b]Godzilla 2014[/b] could have some good 3D shots!
But that's me. What about you? Do you plan to see [b]Godzilla (2014)[/b] in 2D or 3D and why do you prefer one over the other? Let me know your thoughts and opinions be replying below!

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-11-2013 11:26 PMIt all depends... if it is natively shot in 3D, I will get it on 3D bluray and watch it at home. If it isn't shot in 3D, I won't see it in 3D, period. I have to watch 3D in a passive set up. Unfortunately, all of my local theaters only do active, including the Megaplex. 2D in theaters for me, but 3D at home!

MemberMothra LarvaeOct-23-2013 2:02 PMI watched Pacific Rim in 3D it was by the the most impressive in the Imax and 3D effect ,it made the Battles Gritty and realistic and made you feel like your next to the Characters. I want Godzilla to be Similar in that aspect.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-10-2014 6:02 PMI'm going to see it in 2D because 3D hurts my eyes. I don't know if I'm just sensitive to the technology or what, but I can't watch 3D movies without getting sick to my stomach.
