i think that destroyah would be the only real contendor with king Ghidorah for favorite godzilla opponent

GODZILLAMYCUZZIN, i do not thinck that realism was applied completely to the creation of the creatures, its just that the description of the creature shows that it seems to be one solid creature, although i could be wrong, and i do see the possability of one sapping strength from the other somehow. also, if they mix, there will probably have to be some explination that would likely be discussed somewhere in the movie, and the more explaining is needed, the more time gets taken away from everything else. If Gareth does manage to work the combining thing into the plot i would definetly like that alot.

SABER, considering the small size and threat level of the muto in the comic con trailer, the two mutos, or at least one, may not be individual creatures, but two different KINDS of creatures. the whole sinkhole thing would also support that there will be hords of these monsters.

yea, that is true, wether intentionally or not, if two creatures like that were let loose, there would certainly be chaos. the more monsters brawling with eachother, the better!

Edwards never said anything about the Mutos and the second unknown monster combiding too one powerful monsters so Godzilla main enemy might be the second unknown monster

I cant imagine what it would be like to see these three creatures fighting a straight free for all brawl. NOT 2 ON 1 the two mutos disregard eachothers well being and attack bite claw scratch rip each other apart as well...

I think the next trailer might show more of Godzilla and might even show a little bit of the Mutos and the second unknown monster

as long as he doesnt actually need the gills to breath( i suppose they could become vestigial when he is mutated) i would actually be completely fine with that, if its along the lines of what your saying, it could actually make him swim faster with all teh preassure shooting out, and could maybe assist in directing the atomic breath.

for some reason, the way the guy says Gojira in this and the other japanese trailer, just makes me laugh.

I know some are thinking that 2 monsters "uniting" into one is kind of a fantastical element in which gareth said he wanted to shy away from with this film BUT THIS IS MY THEORY obviously these organisms (if thats what they are) have continously evolved and adapted since all successful living organisms on this planted have had to do the same. Individualy these mutos are small (airport scene..people said GODZILLA foot alone could have smushed it) in the face of being utterly destroyed by GODZILLA individually, maybe they adapt and combine into one? OR one devours the other in order to amplify itself and mutate into a more successful organism with a greater chance of survival? CHEERS BROTHERS N SISTERS OUR KING HAS RETURNED

 that was me.  as far as mutos combining, i would think no. this is becuase they are not microscopic little creatures like destroyah was, i do think that something like destroyah(if not actually him) could be a particullary large and/or fully developed individal, or more likely, the worst and final product of M.U.T.O. tampering with the creatures.

i have always said do it like final fantasy anime, make it dark and make it awesome. but before i would like to see GODZILLA in this formate i would love to see dragon ball done corretly first...

Actually, the original 1954 version never gave me a sense that he was there to save the day at all.

Although we've seen the centipede-ish guy and the spider guy, we haven't seen them in any official capacity. In the official trailer, these guys aren't shown. And, I'm kind of up in the air on whether or not I'd be disappointed if Mothra is in this movie. I think, if done right, it might be pretty interesting. But, it's going to have to look very realistic. I would rather see maybe a Destroyah type monster or King Ghidorah or even Rodan but, I think Mothra would be okay if done correctly.

Singleplayer modes:

Millitary mode; Here you play as the millitary in a Battlefield-esque world. But instead of meaninglessly killing your friends, your fighting the MUTO creatures, whom i estimaste to be about a 3rd of Godzilla`s height, about 40 meters. And have boss missions where you have to flee from Godzilla. The story would probably end with them destroying the MUTO, and Godzilla leaving the scene/getting traped.

MUTO(or whatever theyre named) mode; Here you play as the MUTO. Granted we dont know much about the MUTO, so my ideas are theory based. The MUTO missions could be about destroying a certain building (which you instead have to protect in Millitary mode), rooting out humans from a certain area, and eventually kill Godzilla and become the dominant species on earth

Godzilla mode; Here you play as Godzilla. Im thinking of this too be something along the lines of "Save The Earth". You will fight MUTO creatures, destroy humans and destroy things. I would love to see an underwater stage too. The ending would probably be simmiliar too the Military ending.

Multiplayer modes:

Team battle; Team MUTO vs Team Humanity.

All out Godzilla Wars; One player becomes Godzilla, and have too take out the enemy teams, who in turn also have too fight each other.

Warzone mode; This will feature parts of the story mode, where you can invite friends in. They in turn can also choose to be on the rival team, or in some missions be Godzilla.

well if they made one like attack on titan anime without the humour but it could be just as good because if its gets popular anime fans will like godzilla

The 2014 trailer hands down. The trailer for the 1998 Godzilla didn't reveal enough of what Godzilla looked like and, when I seen what he looked like, I was disappointed. The 2014 trailer reveals enough of what Godzilla looks like that, I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed when I see him in the movie. When I watch the trailer for the 1998 version, I expect to see a Godzilla that looks like the one in this 2014 version or any one of the past Godzilla movies and, what we got didn't quite meet my expectations. So, I like that the 2014 trailer gave us a good sense of what Godzilla is going to look like. In the 1998 trailer, we got glimpses of a foot, a tooth, the spines on his back but, it never really showed his face or any type of full body shot. In this 2014 one, we see through the skydiver's goggles a pretty good full body view of Godzilla, albeit it is from a distance and amongst a dark smokey background. And, in the end of the trailer, the shot pans up most of his body up to his face which, although is somewhat obsured by debris, smoke, etc., we can use imagination to discern what it is he looks like. So, I don't think I'm going to be disappointed at all over the way he looks, as I was with the 1998 version.

I dont think it could ever work. Atleast not with the new Godzilla. But whenever Legendary is done with Godzilla, and a few years have past, TOHO might start doing new movies, and make an anime/cartoon/cornflakes. The new movie is 1954ish, and thats not something you can adaprt on tv for children. Of course there will be toys for the kids because Godzilla and kids have always been a good money machine. But an anime based on the more lighthearted, but still great japanese Godzilla movies could defintly work.

But a live action TV show for adults? That sounds better.

I agree, the newest Kong movie was great on its own. If they beefed up that Kong to this 2014 Godzilla size, the writers would need to pull out some out of this world sort of stunt in the movie to explain that. I'm just saying that because the Western audiences are full of pessimists and logical thinkers. And just simply making Kong Godzilla's size may seem fine in our eyes, but other people will think otherwise.

So what if Godzilla's a lot bigger than Kong? They could just do the exact same thing they did in the original King Kong vs Godzilla, scale Kong up to Godzillas size (and give him some powers so he'll stand a chance). However, I do think there shouldn't be a new KKvG movie.
