What will be the Godzilla 2014 theme song ?

I would like to think the song that will play during the credits would be "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons.

Although, I do not think the main Godzilla theme will be in the movie.

I hope atleast they have a deep dark song whenever Godzilla appears from ocean to land :)

Not a song. Simply, not a song. Now that i have gotten that out of the way;

I dont think we`ll hear the Godzilla theme. But im sure Alexandre Desplat can make up something thats deep, scary and dark. We dont need the theme music, it would just be a cool addon.

Actually, I have been listening to Alexandre Despat, who is composing the Godzilla soundtrack, and his pieces (primarily his Harry Potter work) and he tends to use piano and Orchestral instruments. :)

He's a very good composer, and he expresses a lot of emotion (which will aid the Godzilla film during many scenes with our main cast).

This needs to be in the movie somewhere.  Latter part makes an awesome ringtone.

GO! GO! GODZILLA!

I have to say, I've been a godzilla fan for all of my life.  But I hate his theme.  

I do love the original music representing Godzilla in the original Gojira.  That music was dark and creepy.  However, the theme that he uses now is not, and it actually originally represented the army.  They have since added an intro, and I'm sorry, but I HATE that intro.  (sorry for the strong opinion)

Legendary and Gareth seem to really enjoy the atonal music from 2001: a space odyssey.  I hope the score reflects this, because that was terrifying.  

That being said, I am sure that Alexander Desplat is going to do everyone a solid and quote the theme in his score.  He won't use it, but he might leave hints of it here and there.  That would be really cool if he does it right.
