In Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2, Apex Cybernetics are experimenting with technology which they hope could allow them to override Titan neurology and gain control of their nervous system. In episode 5, Apex position themselves in the way of Titan X's migratory route and aim to test this new technology on her when she arrives. Initially it looks like Apex will succeed with their mission, but Titan X is saved by her horde of Scarabs.
