Although, I do not think the main Godzilla theme will be in the movie.

I believe if you look at some of the classic Godzilla films they clearly explain that he was a T-Rex if i'm correct

well, i will be honest about my opnion i personallythink ( with a right atmosphere and mind set) godzilla could be a desint anime just like they made xmen or the wolverine an anime,but on the flip note some animes just let it go to there head. but it dosent really matter to me...

So far, I am loving Godzilla's new look! It looks like some of the past Gojis, yet it retains it's own unique design!

I also like the gills too! I don't see why people are so bothered by Godzilla having gills. How else is he able to survive underwater?

SABER, saurisuchans ARE dinosaurs, and as long as godzilla is an archosaur i don't thinck it would be an issue(dinosaurs, crocodiles, and rauisuchians are all archasaurs btw)

this needs charecter development like the hobbit so you'll feel bad when someone dies you feel bad. but this movie is gonna be awesome i have great faith in the actors and writers that they'll deliver a real american godzilla

i just had another theory come to mind. this new godzilla has some interesting features. the legs remind me of sauropods, but the arms are defnietly therapod. the head, although it has therapod features and is supported by a short, thick neck, is still rather small compared to the rest of Godzilla, like a sauropod. his behavior is obviously similar to an aggresive therapod.the torso looks a bit like both and the tail could be either but its length says sauropod to me. also some dinosaurs were armored, one specifically, was the sauropod saltosaurus, it actually had scutes, which if exagerated, could become godzilla spines. what i am getting at is that godzilla has defining features of both sauropods, and therapods, these two groups make up the saurisuchian, or lizzard hipped, dinosaurs. what if Godzilla originated as another, unknown, type of saurisuchian?

Actually, Destroyah could probably kill Hedorah if he managed to drag him into the ocean, break up into a swarm of micro-organisms, and essentially use the Oxygen Destroyer on him, dissolving all of his organic parts and leaving behind a pile of inanimate sludge. Other than that, though, I dont see the fight going either way, they'd just attack each other ineffectually until they had each used all of their powers and figured out they couldn't hurt the other, and then give up.

i kind of agree with godzilla himself. i like to think of godzilla to be more like a whale if anything. coming up for air everyonce in a while and then diving once more

i'm pretty sure that Godzilla will always be an archasaur. if he is similar to a crocodile he could be based off rauisuchians like fasolasuchus,saurosuchus,and postosuchus. i don,t know how to add images so maybe someone could post a picture of maybe, fasolasuchus please.

this was one of my theorys before. he does look very much like a crocodile or alligator

dinosaurs, or any reptile for that matter, have never had gills, so it would not be realistic. i think/hope that what a bunch of people think are gills, are really just overlapping scales of armor that make him tougher, but still keep his neck flexible. requiring gills would really limit godzilla(which is why if really does have them i hope they would be vestigial), considering that in past movies he could survive in space. that by the way, is not unheard of in reality, tiny creatures called water bears can survive in the vacum of space as well as all kinds of other harsh enviroments.

I'd like a game where you play each of the movies in sequence. So, in the beginning you play a variety of roles such as Dr. Serizawa and Godzilla himself then move on to battle as Godzilla or Anguirus then King Kong etc. The end of the game would be the new movie and then after completion you can kind of make your own scenes for a follow up by choosing monsters to fight as or against.

Epic! Tho I would prefer the puppet to be plastic and detailed like what Jurassic Park did with their head puppets. Imagine how awesome that would be!

It would be really cool. It would also be cool all the usual stuff happened when Godzilla fires his atomic breath and the gills would open and light would flow out of them.

Is it just me or does Vishnu seem like godzilla himself. before anyone gets ideas i just think that because it is said that in Vishnu's last avatar he would purify the world of sin. Humanity could have made Vishnu angry *Cough* Nuclear bomb *Cough*, He could appear as godzilla riddingthe world of humanity. This explains why Godzilla is a planet saver as well as a destroyer to humanity. You cant be sure what to think of him.

Godzilla having gills is its own upside. It's a cool design and it's realistic.

We had to see the 48FPS 3-D version because the only other show at the time was sold out.  Godzilla wasn't played in the trailers.  After 15 minutes we walked out because we both HATED the look of the 48FPS and got tickets to the next regular showing instead.  The Godzilla trailer was in front of that one. 

Evidently the pre-packaging isn't the same for all the version.  Interstellar was only in the regular one as well.

During the Super Bowl will be awesome

When i think G98 i think of the New Years Eve comercial for me that was the best caught me off guard thats when i realized The King arrives to the big screen. Rememeber seeing it when it came out may 28th i think...anyways....it took me ten years to realize what a KRAPY MOVIE Roland Emmerich had good intentions for making a Godzilla but he lacked the passion Gaerth Edwards has. I love the new trailer it looks flat out scray im okay if this movie gets a R rating as long as it does well and we get a SEQUAL. So cannot wait for the official First non teaser trailer

GO GO GOJIRA!!!!

I'm pretty much sold on the whole design except one part, the feet/toes.  The legs look quite beefy and then you have these somewhat tiny feet/toes compared to the rest of Godzilla.  Your telling me that those are supposed to support this 500-700+ ft monster? They just seem quite disproportinate compared to the rest of his body parts and I don't think that they quite fit the rest of the design.   I know I'm being picky I guess unfortunately but thats the one part that bothers me but each to their own I suppose.  Hopefully (if thats what they stick with then for the feet/toe design) I won't see them that much in the movie haha Or perhaps the design will grow on me.

I hope soon because The Amazing Spiderman has a 2nd trailer with all new scenes. Maybe another trailer will surface before the Superbowl. But if thats not the case, the Superbowl is the perfect event to reveal another trailer because millions of people will be watching it and hopefully be like "Damn, that looks intense!"
