No matter what, we(not the film, us) are going to lose publicly one way or another. Get used to that. We will be ridiculed even more than before, and so will the japanese series. The movie itself will either;

Get praised. Its likely too happen. Or atleast be good enough

Get hated on simply because its Godzilla. Also possible. And you know why.

And for us, no matter what happens we will now have to deal with three different kind of people.

The people who only like Zilla.

The people who only likes the new version.

People who only like Zilla and the new version.

Hey as long as the fan base holds it won't matter which way the movie goes...but when we gain fans that aren't annoying (know it all's who just become fans...) then that's even better...it will probably be taken very well since monster movies are on the rise again

i am positve that it will this is of course the new era for godzilla and i say it will be the best film of 2014 with out a doubt but we have to wait another 4 months for now

i wounder myself about this question. i think it will be the best godzilla film ever and i hope it does well.

yeah i was talking about his character, DR..something with and S. i doubt its going to work. i really hope we get another trailer that explains some more things in detail, because this last one didnt really show much.

i say we will see his eye open up or soemthing. maybe a submarine will pick up and ratherly large object adn go to investigate, and he will have himself a snack.

I agree it could be to mark him for a nuke, or some sort of super chemical weapon.

I think the marines are going in to try and save that japaneese guy, his name escapes my mind. or they are going to put a target beacon on Godzilla to mark him for a nuke or w.e

Even if its unknown it must relate to another dinosaur species/fammily. And also, he looks more like a reptillian mammal for me. Defintly warmblooded.

baragon and anguiris would have origins very similar to godzillas. unkown species of dinosaurs being mutated from similar processes

I don't think that's the halfway point, that seems like the climax. In a lot of stories there's a point where the protagonists face such an insurmountable opponent that they have no choice but to make one last drastic stand. For Star Wars, it was the Rebels taking a dozen X-Wings to stop the Death Star. In this film, it's a dozen paratroopers to take out Godzilla. I don't think they'd jump in their unless it was their very last desperate option.

I said he was a possibility. Yes, i know, its weird but he can fit in (with another name though, oh how i hate that name).

Anguirus...I dont see how he can come in, unless you pull a rhedosaurus-origin. Baragon...What the heck is Baragon!? I mean, i know the monster but...What is he!?

^I don't know about his spines, but I do know light shines through his gills on the sides of his neck when he fires his atomic ray.

Yeah...No. Godzilla`s roar was in Pacific Rim, but that growl at the end is just a...Post credits thing. The roar however was uttered by Karloff. It was an amplified version, however.

How do you think SpaceGodzilla is a possibility, but you don't think Anguirus or Baragon have a chance? I don't think we'll ever see SpaceGodzilla in anything ever again.
