The only reason why I say Godzilla because if you watch to the very end of Pacific Rim you hear a little growl that sounds like its coming from a big monster. Not only that, the week before Pacific Rim came out, the Godzilla twitter page seem to give the movie a lot of hype so people can watch it, and it kind of seemed like if some how they were tied, but then again not tied. Also in the Godzilla trailer when it gets to 1:35 into the trailer if you pay close attention you can hear the same growl that sounds like the growl from the very end of Pacific Rim, so is it Godzilla?
Just to clarify these are my opinions on if its Godzilla, this was never comfirmed but the question was never asked, so I want to bring the question to the table.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 12:31 PMI dont believe so, since Paific Rim was not a film about Godzilla or any appearance, but it could be a similiar roar, many monsters will sound a like in some sort of way or form.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 1:29 PMYeah...No. Godzilla`s roar was in Pacific Rim, but that growl at the end is just a...Post credits thing. The roar however was uttered by Karloff. It was an amplified version, however.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 7:45 PMI literally watched Pacific Rim this morning and no Godzilla roars anywhere to be found. I also couldnt help but think how bad Big G would destroy any of the Jeagurs and or Kuiju. Wouldnt even be a fair fight.
