MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 1:42 PMNow Every Godzilla movie starts out as Godzilla showing him self but i don,t no about Godzilla showing him self on screen for the first time or the first scene of the movie in 2014 Godzilla so here,s my opinion on who the movie would start Its starts as Godzilla rising from the deaths of the seas and gives the 2004 or GMK or 1985 roar or any roar then he goes back in too the water too invade a city so thats my opinion whats yours?

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 1:44 PMDepends...
The first time we see a glimpse of him is in the opening of the movie.
The first full appearence is during the airport scene.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 1:46 PMWell it,s possible that Godzilla might rise from the sea for his apperences

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 1:52 PMi say we will see his eye open up or soemthing. maybe a submarine will pick up and ratherly large object adn go to investigate, and he will have himself a snack.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 2:15 PMa Godzilla your doing the scene from 1984 when Godzilla ate the submarine im guessing the opening will be diffenet

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 7:18 PMMaybe Godzilla might rise from a volcano from Godzilla vs Biollante

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 8:20 PMMy speculation is that reports of a "black iceberg" (or something like that) has been terrorizing fishing boats and such. Slowly, we will see some more of Goji's appearance. Then, when the Mutos arise, Godzilla's full design will be revealed (most likely from the ocean).

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 8:27 PMI hope it's reminiscent of the original movie. Although I'm sure there will be many homages to the first film.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 9:10 PMMy guess Is that Godzilla,s Apperence will be total diffenet from the other movies

BurningGodzilla1995
MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 9:24 PMMaybe he will appear on the shoreline...or IN RISING FROM THE SAND LIKE IN GODZILLA VS MOTHRA!!! JK......still I mean he won't just appear so maybe...probably something like the original (which I'm watching)

xxsaberblackcrow
MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 9:55 PMMaybe his First apperence would be funny like he rises from the sea and starts dancing and says HEY! XD

Akagi
MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 11:05 PMHe'll appear as a giant monster.
:B

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-31-2013 1:26 AMI think we might get a glimpse of Godzilla in a flashback scene early on in the movie, maybe nucleur testing in the pacific stirs him and he is spotted by a few fishermen, becoming the stuff of legend. Gareth Edwards said he imagined the "guy in the suit" Gojira from the original movie was inspired by the real creature so we might be treated to some footage from the old films as The big G seeps his way into popular culture and further into myth. As for his big reveal I really hope he just shows up without warning - it has to be something shocking, like a sudden earthquake or a terrorist attack. He should just rise out of the ocean, stand there for a second as terrified onlookers try to make sense of what they're seeing...then, SKREEONK! The carnage begins.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-31-2013 7:26 AMNice one akagi but if he appeared with no hint that would be a bit upsetting....5 minutes into the film and you see him destroying something and your thing WTF!?!?!!

Zodgilla
MemberMothra LarvaeDec-31-2013 10:06 AMI believe they'll take their time with the reveal, to build suspense. We'll definitely see the MUTO-related creature(s) first...

BurningGodzilla1995
MemberMothra LarvaeDec-31-2013 2:46 PMI mean this so far seems like a mix of Godzilla vs destroyah and the original... which is interesting since they're connected

Badsushi
MemberMothra LarvaeDec-31-2013 3:12 PMGareth Edwards said in an interview, that Godzilla will be this legendary beast that people claim to have seen, made movies and drawing, however the real thing is beyond discription, force of nature like a Hurricane.

BurningGodzilla1995
MemberMothra LarvaeDec-31-2013 3:19 PMWell I mean it's like taking a movie then putting it in a movie about a different version of it...wtf..

xxsaberblackcrow
MemberMothra LarvaeDec-31-2013 3:44 PMMaybe Godzilla,s first apperence might be attacing the japanese

Thrillerzilla
MemberMothra LarvaeDec-31-2013 7:53 PMok now here is my idea: Since its based on the story of Ford that millitary dude i think it could be that at the beginning there is some sort of war on a japanese island in the dark night, after defeating a few men Ford realizes that there is something big moving towards him, he cant se what it is because its to dark. After a few seconds we see a humongous foot crashing down just a few meters right behind Ford and you hear godzillas roar. Then a cut to the title sequence.
Just my idea but im sure his movie appearence will be 1000 times better then what i got in mind ^^

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-01-2014 12:13 AM@ZILLAHATER How would u know that? Have u seen the movie or what? But btw I love that idea I gotta admit, that would actually be just perfect if they approach godzillas appearance just like that

Teozilla
MemberMothra LarvaeJan-02-2014 12:16 AMI think the Mutos will be in the city attacking when you see Godzilla's fins rise a little above the water with the city in the distance. then his fins go under water. Then the humans detect a giant radioactive object heading for the city. Then godzilla rise on shore, roars, and starts attacking.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-03-2014 9:11 PMI agree with DRU it would be a cool opening to like showing a flashback of 1954 Tokyo, and maybe he disappearances for a time and reappearances in this era. (He attacks Japan then maybe makes it to Amercia. To me if would make more of a monster movie if Godzilla would attack different places then just one set area.) I mean cause if you watch the Toho Godzilla they only refurl back to the 1954 one. Like in the 2000 Godzilla movie supposly me hadn't been seen since 1954. The same way with Godzilla 1985.

G2K
MemberMothra LarvaeJan-04-2014 9:53 AMmaybe they show scenes of all the movies from toho so then he comes to be for real, and all the people and even soldiers feel familiar with the monster only till they notice its him, and that the radiation actually mutated a reptile to bring godzilla to life

G2K
MemberMothra LarvaeJan-04-2014 10:01 AMmaybe they would show scenes from other movies then they would say how he was a joke and he just came to life.that would make the ppl and soldiers familiar with him. maybe reference gigan or king ghidorah by saying 'whats next, robot chickens and 3 headed dragons? XD but who knows, maybethis godzilla is the son of the 1954 who knows, so it would know how to destroy with class and style

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-05-2014 8:58 PMThere will be no old Toho roars or footage in this film. Gareth said he imagined it "as if" someone from Toho saw his version and went back to the studio to make a film on it. Never did he say that anywhere in his film would he actually make that idea a part of his story. In fact, it'd be rather stupid if he did. Having our real modern Godzilla pop culture in a movie that's a reboot to the franchise and starting something brand new would completely defeat the purpose. That, and it would be a partial break of the 4th wall, so to speak.
Anyway, as for his appearance, you must clarify whether you mean our first encounter with him or his first full body reveal. If you mean our first encounter with him, then it will likely be in the first few minutes to introduce audiences to the fact that there is something out there that is going to be a BIG problem. If you are asking about his first full body reveal, it will likely be during the first major battle of the film, slowly teasing him bit by bit until the reveal is presented.
I doubt very much that they will use any of the old Godzilla entrances in this film. Gareth is a creative man, and his special effects team is the top of the line in America. They should be able to come up with something entirely new and amazing for the Big-G's American debut.
