Is Shin-Gojira getting a sequel? Apparently so! A recent article by Bloomberg reveals Toho are actively working on expanding their Godzilla offerings, by means of film, games and merchandise – a move we previously reported on back in April. The Bloomberg report however puts emphasis on Toho's interest in new Godzilla sequels, in addition to the Godzilla Minus One sequel which is currently in active development.
With Shin-Godzilla returning to select theaters in 4K next month and Shin Godzilla director Shinji Higuchi making an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con this week, the timing of this potential announcement seems quite convenient and coincidental.
While Toho have yet to make an official announcement, the prospect of a Shin-Godzilla sequel is an exciting one! Once confirmation is made we will notify you, but in the meantime let us know – Do you want a sequel to Shin-Gojira? Sound off in the comments below!
