2 weeks ago before the finale of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters aired on Apple TV, we asked fans and visitors to vote on whether or not they felt the the series deserved a season 3 green-light from Apple TV! The options were yes, maybe and no – and with nearly 1,000 votes tallied at the time of this write-up, 96% of people voted unanimously: Monarch: Legacy of Monsters must continue!
Season 2 of Monarch ended on a monumental cliffhanger – setting up the return of Rodan to the Monsterverse, while leaving Kentaro and Isabel Simmons' fates unknown. Evidently there is still plenty of story left to tell across the Monsterverse timeline and with the exploration of Axis Mundi allowing for more intricate storytelling opportunities, the series feels far from over.
One thing is for certain – the people want Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 3 to happen!
As of right now, Apple TV have not yet announced that they've ordered a third season of Legacy of Monsters. But we do know filming for their next Monsterverse spin-off (potentially titled Red Monarch) does begin this summer. With such a positive reaction to Season 2 and consensus drawn from this survey, it's very likely Apple TV will green-light a season 3 very soon.
