Like a sunrise, you can see the shine before the actual thing. Thats what we see in that picture, something is shining bright behind him
My idea is that the HALO jump scene is part of the climax. I DID read something along the lines of a huge surprise in the movie somewhere, particularly near the end of the film. But I think a Godzilla vs Godzilla fight would be kind of a ripoff (at least if they looked the exact same). Perhaps there is a true big bad that is revealed towards the end?
This theory seems to be similar to the "Star Wars Episode 3" thing where Anakin was part of the climax, and not a completely different "thing" from Obi Wan. It sounds confusing, but I just wasn't too fond of that idea.
Mr. Gman these figures are coming up to fans door and some are being taken down. But that's not a big deal' the only one is if the movies is gonna SUCK. So far I don't think it would.
Light reflects. Thats probably the case here.
The realism is probably referring to the humans perspectives as if the natural disaster actually happened. You can't really turn Godzilla into *realism*. That was the problem with the 1998 film. He just looked like a giant velociraptor
@ Cobrazilla: I agree with you.
What would be awesome, is if Godzilla was walking off victorious and a MUTO attacked him out of nowhere and it was bigger than the last MUTOS he fought. It would be a nice twist.
How bout we go with the obvious, the reflection of red flares on wet, dark skin? If you watch, and I have many times, he doesn't "glow" until the flares get close. My take, is all, seemed pretty straight forward from my first viewing. Perhaps a little overdone with CGI, maybe?
Gosh, I've never taken the time to think about what the Godzilla and MUTO fight scene will be like. The MUTO is only around 20 meters shorter than Godzilla (referring to the toy pictures). if godzilla was chasing it, the MUTO is pretty fast then.
I recall another post on this forum (which I can't find) where someone linked the image of a bust of a supposed Godzilla before the trailer came out. There response from Legendary (or the director) was "that's not our Godzilla".
Does anyone know what or where that image is? Didn't it have a kind of alligator snout?
Guys, ultimately -- I don't know. I am just trying to figure out what best fits the disparate hints we've been given from different reviewers.
There seems to be a consensus about a huge surprise in the SF Halo shot, and it's almost certainly not a MUTO.
Please note that I'm not saying it's exactly another GODZILLA. I think it's more likely to be a Godzilla-type of kaiju.
In godzilla 2014 the game, godzilla 2014 is DLC?
It's probably a flare. Plus if Godzilla had his Sprial Atomic Breath (which he most likely won't in this film) the shot is to lower to see him charge it. His tail doesn't flicker or glow when he charges his Atomic Breath, just his sails.
Godzilla all the way, they would die in one nuclear breath or be torn apart
Pretty sure godzilla's nuclear breath is blue in this movie. Fire doesn't shine a bright red. Probably flares
What part of indestructible fore of nature don't people understand? Godzilla has fought many monsters bigger than him. And he has fought mulitple monsters at the same time. Godzilla can and would win this fight. Plus Slattern ins't likely to work with Striker Eureka. He's too unpredictable.
Getting struck by lightning and 40 minutes later it making all Godzilla's wounds heal completely in Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla.
Jet Jaguar growing to a giant
A song from weeds waking up rodan and making him change into fire Rodan in GvsMG2
Small meganula stopping a black hole from hitting Godzilla
People comveniently waking up all the guardian monsters as Godzilla came back in GMK, the rock piece conveniently falling into the water and landing on Ghidorah
Everything that happened in Final Wars
I`d say Godzilla.
Striker Eureka may be a fast and fluently controlled jaeger, he is still quite a bit smaller than Godzilla and most likely alot weaker.
And Slattern...I really think he gets overrated alot. He might be big, but he isnt that big either. Slattern underwater might stand a better chance (as Godzillaser above me noted) against Godzilla, but i still think Godzilla would stand victorious.
Interesting thing about rodan, I just figured he was on his way to little Godzilla and not to big G
In the ocean, Godzilla may loose (50%).
On the land, bye bye Striker and Slattern.
The Second poster is the best! Looking at if you know who it is, without it revealing too much!
Ae you guys retarded? SHIVA'S THE DESTROYER not Vishnu!
Destroyed most probably
I disagree, we don't know what colour godzilla's atomic breath is. After all it's a reboot. Anyway I think that's probably the intense heat godzilla's giving off.
Great sketch, though the tail seems a bit too big, but you still have quite alot of potential. Keep practicing!
I do recall Gareth saying that he was particularly proud with the way Bryan Cranston's scene came out (the one where his wife is trapped). That could be one of them.
@THEGMAN123
No I know that I was just asking a general question.
In that sense I have to agree.
Thanks Gman! :)
Nice sketch, I like it. The tail looks a bit too thick though. Still awesome and I reckon you should do more :)
Probably just some info/website revamping. When pages of information are going under massive updates sometimes they remove them and then replace them with pages with pictures/new info. The real bummer is it removes the pre-order option for a bit.
Trust me, there's still some other places listing it:

I really wouldn't worry much about it.
I can't really explain why, but for some reason it'd bother me also if there was another Godzilla present in this film. The skeleton from the trailer, if that does belong to another Godzilla, also bothers me, and I'm not sure exactly why.
Maybe it just seems to me that he should be the one and only Godzilla at this point, with no lesser clones, and should fight against only the MUTOs and humanity, not against one of his own kind.
