Researcher of some sort is pretty much a given. Into what then is the next big question. Having to do with the Mutos and Godzilla? Also pretty mcuh a given. But to what extent does this research and his influence extend? That's what we really can't tell. He's important to the plot and clearly well-versed in what has been covered up until now, that much we know. What I personally want to know is if any non-spiritual connections can be made to the original 1954 film. I know this isn't meant to be a sequel or remake, but a reboot, but is it possible Ichiro Serizawa holds some signficance central to some of the characters and/or settings of the original? Could things from the original still exist within this Godzilla universe? Who knows.....
This is getting too exciting for words...
I don't get what's wrong with him taking pride in his work. I mean, it is pretty damn awesome.
people's appreciation doesnt really matter mate..what matter is how much you love to draw and how much time and heart you spend when making it.. lots of people appreciate a higher art quality, but not everyone can make it right? u should draw and keep evolving no matter what or how many people appreciate it.. keep up your work
I don't get why everyone thinks a near impenetrable hide would be more realistic than regenerative powers. I mean, there is no living thing that can withstand artillery fire, and no material that can withstand the temperatures and pressures that particularly large bombs can produce, but a relatively complex animal called a sea squirt has been proven to be able to regenerate its entire body from just a fragment of a blood vessel. In fact, since Godzilla's body produces radiation rather than having to consume an outside energy sources, it's possible that even if Godzilla recieves mortal wounds and "dies," his cells could continue to survive and multiply without the rest of his body functioning. Besides, considering that Godzilla can survive nuclear explosions, they are clearly not going for realism in terms of his abilities in this film.

What shot? There are a crap ton of G roar shots. If it's the one in the news thumbnail of the courage TV spot, I think it looks WAY WAY better than the last shot of the first spot and the one where you see him getting bombarded by missiles in the window shot.
I seem to recall that descriptions of the 2013 Comic Con trailer from people who had also seen the 2012 trailer said that the shot of the monster corpse was shown again, but the 8-legged Muto was there in place of "Talaghan." Because of this, it seems that, if he was ever intended to be in the movie at all, he was replaced by or was an early design for Hokmuto.
i doubt well get a full 20 minute sneek peek, that would be a bit extreme
Very nice bro, the teeth are very well located
I'm guessing that it means we will get a good long look at a shot of Godzilla (as opposed to the brief flashes we've been seeing in the TV spots).
I also saw/read some things about military weapons having some minor effect on Godzilla; and the Mutos don't have to be overly large to inflict damage. I believe this version of Godzilla will not go through any and all opposition as easily as he has been shown to do in past movies, he'll have to put some sweat into it. That only makes it more interesting, IMHO.
You're right, I think I was wrong to put these titles, I really am humble, what happens is that when you strive to make quality content, then nobody or very few people see it is a bit sad. But I understand you perfectly, will not happen again :)
The more footage I see from this film, the more excited I become ;)...
I love the look of the MUTO in this! I'm curious though if this is supposed to be the 8 legged MUTO before he feeds or something. The flying MUTO looks identical to the toy but the one in the newest TV Spot doesn't look much like the toy.
Here you go amy, the songs aroudn the 53:00 minute mark
You don't know untill you see the show, but for know I think It looks fucking awesome thats my opinion and not everybody can agree on that. Godzilla is badass and he looks badass hands down! Topic closed time to think of another topic you guys can bitch about!

King Ghidorah and Rodan please
My opinion, dont call your own drawings awesome, the level of awesomeness is different from one people to another,it seems that you want to show off and seeking for attention..That is not a good trait to be in an artist,it makes you stop developing your skills and stuck in the zone.. your drawings is pretty good, but compared to my level of awesomeness ,i think matt frank, junkerde, dopepope are awesome, but this isnt as awesome as that.. Some people praise my artwork, but i dont call my own artwork amazing,as there is still so many things to change..
be humble, and you will do better than this
why did i post double comments..
Yeah I agree with you on the part where he roars. It looks like it is from a video game or something. But apart from that, I reckon the rest of the CGI looks great :)
I hope they release the full 2013 Comic-Con footage tomorrow. That would be so cool.
SOMETHING REAL ... True story. So far the MUTO's do not look like they will be able to hold their own against the man of the hour so there better be something else.
Never thought British folk would like steam-punk learn something new every day. But anyway I feel most of the monster should be owned by the originations but a few like (godzilla, spacegodzilla, and monster x to name a few) should be rouges that have their own monster agendas.
Thank you so much Chris.
Great fin. That looks like the 24 inch figure.
Oops! My apologies cx I didn't go through every thread yet.
@godzillafan1995 I was talking about godzilla not the smoke. The scene when he roars looks fake, unlike the other trailers.
still a hard time seeing the mutos, but hey,as long they keep rolling out trailers im fine with it!Keep 'em comin Gareth!
