Please, bear with me. It is a lot of reading. This is still a work in progress, but I would like to know what everyone thinks.

1954. This year marked the first time humanity had met something more powerful than itself, on Earth itself. Godzilla emerged from the depths of the ocean, and leveled Tokyo. Then, after that, year after year, many more monsters began to appear. Attacking cities, devastating populations and going as far as to threaten the world’s very existence.
Eventually, these monster attacks culminated in an attack in the late 1960s, when alien invaders from Planet X sought to control Earth’s monsters to conquer the world. This plan failed, as they lost control of many of the monsters, and were subsequently destroyed. They had left behind their technology, however, and a technological sprint began to reverse-engineer the technology so that the world’s nations would be free from monster invasion again. There were many more attacks after the ‘60s, and humanity was desperate to finish the devices needed to protect itself. But their desperation would culminate into a hunger for power…

It is now the year 2XXX. The technology had been mastered, and subsequent alien invasions were crushed. It seemed like everything appeared to be working out at last. Until, an unidentified kaiju began to wipe out islands in the Pacific. Suspicion and doubt was cast throughout the United Nations, and old rivalries began to rekindle. Each nation began an arms race to acquire the most powerful monsters, dubbed kaiju, and the United Nations was disbanded, to be replaced by three new organizations:

The American Confederation, which focused primarily on becoming the most advanced of the three in terms of technology.
The African-Middle Eastern-European Coalition, or AMEE, which focused on preserving the world in its natural state as best as possible.
The Asian Union, which focused on becoming the most powerful of the three in terms of military.

Each organization had established its territory, and fiercely strict laws were put into place, effectively dividing the world into five different territories: Confederation land, Coalition land, Union land, neutral South Asia and the uncontrolled oceans.
When the first skirmish erupted for control over India, the results were devastating. Everything was destroyed, and the entire country was rendered uninhabitable from the devastating power of the kaiju. Seeing their folly, each organization developed new strategies that would minimalize the destruction of the world, while continuing with the war. Peace was not an option.

-MONSTERS SET TO APPEAR-
Godzilla
Godzilla Junior
SpaceGodzilla
MechaGodzilla
MechaGodzilla 2
Biollante
Zilla
Kiryu
Mechani-Kong
Kumonga
Gigan
Megalon
Orga
Mecha-King Gidorah
M.O.G.U.E.R.A.
Jet Jaguar
Anguirus
Titanosaurus
King Gidorah
Rodan
Baragon
Destoroyah
Monster X
Varan
Kamacuras
Hedorah
Megaguirus
Mothra
Battra
------------------------------------

With all of that out of the way, what do you guys think? Which monsters do you think should be aligned with which organization? Let me know what you think, and if everyone feels strongly enough about something (except Zilla), I might just change it.

Also, for anyone who may be reading this, due to an earlier topic, this story will be deciding who truly is Godzilla's ultimate foe... By pitting them against each other! Be sure to cast your "vote" (opinion, you know)! More details here!

Note1: As I stated, this is a HEAVY work in progress.
Note2: No, I will not add any other kaiju from other companies. (I.e. Gamera.)
Note3: There are other kaiju who "appear" in this, but they are deceased. They are the following: King Caesar, Ebirah, Manda, Gorosaurus, and King Kong.

It sounds good, but I think it is preferable to keep it for yourself unless you got some copyrights. Yes, you can get the rights for any literal work as secondary work in this case, which means that any ideas and events on text are totally yours, even if it based on the work of other companies; the limitation obviously is you cannot use it for commercial porpouses unless you get the license from the owners.

Pretty impressive. Sounds cool. Now I'm thinking about posting my fanfiction as well. But I need to work up the courage to first.

Gigan and Orga for the United States of America. Those two brutes always made me think of unstoppable military powerhouses - a fine fit! Gorosaurus and Anguirus for AMEE - they're both dinosaur-like in appearance and fit in with the more tropical aspect. Hmmm, Godzilla, Ghidorha, and Destroyah for the Asian Union (definately). Finally, for this girl's home town of the UK, I'd have to go with Kiryu, Jet Jaguar, and Mecha King Ghidorha. We British folk love our steam-punk! :)

Never thought British folk would like steam-punk learn something new every day. But anyway I feel most of the monster should be owned by the originations but a few like (godzilla, spacegodzilla, and monster x to name a few) should be rouges that have their own monster agendas.

Sounds like a great back story for a video game, especially an open world third person game where you play as Godzilla. And maybe this new unidentified kaiju could be Bagan, and maybe there's a huge covert plot by aliens to turn the humans on each other so they can then take over.

As for the Alliances, give Zilla and Mechan-kong to America. That's all I can think of for now.

@Gojira19- Copyright isn't truly a problem for me, as this is merely a work of fan fiction, and will never be used to procure profit. I have my own stories for that.

@KingKaijuGojira- A-ha! Courage is not a problem my friend! You must simply love what you have done.

@Somthing Real- I'm glad to see you're watching my snooping, and I like your ideas. The United States, at least, is full of pretty brute-ish individuals, and the way we protray our military definitly suits that mindset, though the American Federation is made up of more than the ol' US. Taking into account the whole of North, Central and South America, that's when you get the AF. Your AMEE suggesstions are actually quite spot-on with what I have at the moment, though poor Gorosaurus has already croaked. As for the AU suggesstions, I like the thinking, though I don't think anyone would like seeing Godzilla faltering to mind-control once again. Eh? And yes. Steampunk is amazing, isn't it?

@Maggleshackle- You'll like what I've got in store for this, then. Although, I've always felt SpaceGodzilla was a bit runty. I mean, the games made him a force to be reckoned with, but I've never really liked him. I've always felt he wasn't up to the game.

@Julien Barresi- Oh-ho, you think my mystery kaiju will be Bagan, eh? I'll give you all a treat for this guess: He might make an appearance. ;) I really do love your thinking, though I will say this, there won't be any alien humanoid plotting going on here! As for the video-game feeling you are getting, it is actually inspired by the Godzilla games (Unleashed to be exact). A friend of mine actually made a game called Sekai taisen daikaijū, from which this is very heavily based. Due to copyright issues, he has not released this game for public use.

Analysis- Your feedback is really nice. You might just get a slight tweak or two out of me! Keep it coming people! Pass it around!

It's a shame no one's been giving this any attention after the first splash. This project was started specifically because of everyone here, and I'd appreciate it ever so much if someone would get word around. :(
