ET runs that facebook page? I'm just surprised because I've never seen the page link to any of his youtube videos.
"Extended Look" is ET's fancy way of grabbing an audience. It won't be anything too extensive and will probably only reveal stuff we've already seen/heard. It wouldn't hurt to take a look at though.
@Member of the Planet X
I wouldn't bother with the re-release of Classic Media's Godzilla '54 DVD unless you're a completist and want the special features that Criterion doesn't have. The Criterion version is far superior.
As for the rest, it's all down to preference.
I honestly have no clue, I'm not in charge of the page nor do I know anything about the announcements. All I know is considering how many teases and TV spots we've received this week it seems like we're building up to something big...
I kinda liked Cloverfield. We got to see the monster attack throught the civilians perspective.
OMG too much to take in cant wait for it ! also is u havent seen the trailer for the mobile game check it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJ9P7F7klMw
Cool, but define extended look. Like a preview of Godzilla himself?
Awesome Cant wait if you havent seen heres the trailer for the game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJ9P7F7klMw
Incredible. Maybe tomorrow they will release the full 2013 Comic-Con footage since they have showna lot of it. Keep an eye out 1 pm PT/ 4pm ET.
Sorry I screwed up the link guys but it's on youtube titled Godzilla t.v. spot "Courage"
1. Next time post a link or screenshot so people can see what you're talking about.
2. It says "Rating to be Advised" which practically means the rating will be announced in the trailers soon. Just not that one.
The movie is rated PG-13 guys. The last time I saw a rating change after it was announced through some official source was in the mid-1990s.
Anyone hoping for an R rating are out-of-luck or just delusional. Legendary was NEVER going to let this be an R rated movie. Period.
Aggressive, his feet aren't "stubby". Have you ever seen an elephant's foot? Or a rhino? Or a sauropod dinosaur? That's how feet develop past a certain size & weight.
@npinkham19
I disagree, I thought cloverfield faired well above average. True it was not particularly great but it was entertaining nevertheless
Moved to Fan Works.
There's another quick shot of the ground based muto at 48 second mark.
I think the strength of his regeneration will vary by how much nuclear energy he absorbs through his g cells
You can see the wingles MUTO in the "Courage" TV spot at the 47 second mark
Damn it I JUST got done watching this and was about to post it lol yeah we get the best look at the muto yet not to mention some better shots of Godzilla
Why were his feet so stubby? And why were his eyes green?
You can see the wingless MUTO at the 47 second mark.
I remember the bif hush hush over Cloverfield and than directly AFTER it premiered the creature was all over the TV spots. Off topic but speaking of cloverfield, prior to the release I saw tons of concepts for the creature , all of which were better than the final design. That movie sucked so hard.
I;m an older guy who's very much into darker, more horror themed stuff and would with open arms celebrate an unrated version but I think Godzilla should be shared by everyone and Lengendary knows that and wouldn't support a theatrical R rating and lose a huge chunk of their audience/profits.
I think I can wait 6 weeks. I waited 1 1/2 years for a video game, I can wait 6 more weeks for a movie.
That being said... my legs have gone numb. That last moment Bryan said "Whatever it takes" that then trasitioned in to a more clearer image of Godzilla is breathtaking!!
Thanks guys :)
You know Gareth if you want this movie to be emotional like you wanted, STOP RELEASING THESE DAMN CLIPS!!!!!!!!!!!
So much Godzilla awesomeness... *eyes roll back, foams at mouth*
Good point GOJIRA19. Wolves and coyotes have something similar (though it's usually onsided, in the wolves favor). I'm gonna play devil's advocate and engage in some random, baseless speculation. There has been a lot of hubub about the number of monsters in the film, with 2 being the most often cited. Now, do the film makers mean two monsters period... or two types of monsters? Could be that while we have the two very simlar hocmuto and winged muto, could it be that there are many of them? They could make up for their lack of size and strength with numbers. A single bee sting isn't enough to kill a person (unless they are alergic of course) but killer bees can kill a fulll grown adult because they swarm their victum. It's the same thing with ants, locusts, and even pirahna. Small organisims can humble creatures far larger than themselves because they swarm. Maybe, just maybe, there will be a horde of mutos who swarm Godzilla. Who knows...
Although I must say I absolutely love the new shots! When I saw the empire design, I was a bit upset. Thankfully these new shots look nothing like it :)
Gareth, I admire the fact you're trying to keep our interests alive by releasing these small clips, but damn it man can't you just let us surpirise ourselves? This better be the last clip, because I'm pretty everyone here would like to be surprised at the theater rather than their own home.
i hope it will still be PG-13, and it says rating to be advised, not revised, plus it might be a commercial from a different country
Yup, it's official!!
The MUTO will be revealed on....May 16th.
Geez, everyone wants something for nothing.
Just hang in there for 6 more weeks;)
This is insane. We all knew Godzilla was big, but when you see his feet against the crowds in the airport... That's genuinely frightening. I am in awe of his size. Gareth Edwards, you have yet to disaapoint!
this is why i love tohokingdom, also why isn't there a tohokingdom hd copy of the international version of the main trailer
Maybe Muto is what they were trying to kill in '54 and Godzilla is what they awoken?
