i'm really am starting to hate this site now with more of these retarded posts, granted something might've gone wrong but still nothing after nearly an hour, no this post should be closed and i'm really close to leaving this site for good, this is probably why kyro hasn't been on this site for ages
yes, is an amazing drawing!, thanks for share the videos of the making of your art with us.
Godzilla really looks amazing in the film. The toys don't do him justice at all. I think they're very ugly in comparison. That's a shame. Hopefully MonsterArts or someone else makes a good one.
Maybe the footage of the SXSW?
We've already seen part of it in the trailer I believe.
Maybe it's because what we saw is not full move phase. I've tried to connect shots in one, from different TV-Spots. Check it out:
@junkerde agreed, really no one will either care or notice if the smoke looks bad, seriously godzilla is fucking raoring at the top of his lungs im surprised that someone even focused the look of cgi smoke
yeah ive seen alot of people complaining about the cgi. i think its "middle of the line" typical hollywood CG quality, meaning it's good and good enough but not bad either, i dont think its bad at all.
^It is possible. I remember del Toro did the same thing with Pacific Rim. No doubt some of the special effects had been polished by the time he released his Comic Con footage online.
Yes, you're very talented :)
why would they show footage that was made way before they movie was even finshed, infact they only just finished filming before comic con and so far we have been getting finaized cgi, the 2013 comic con footage seems more of a concept footage that will not be seen untill probably when they show behind the scenes or will be exclusive with the dvd/bluray of the movie as a special feature
AMAZING!!!
The next question is how many different mutos are in this. I think its safe to say we have the 2 that they have shown several times in these TV spots but i have a hunch there is at least 1 more, (No Not the one from the concept footage). None of what we have seen so far has red spikes on its back like the one breaking through the train tracks. I think that will be kept a secret because it will be the biggest/baddest muto to fight G
It's possible, but I doubt it. Godzilla's regenerative abilities is not a well known trait and it wasn't something introduced to the franchise until Godzilla vs. Biollante.
Edwards seems to be taking most of his cues from the original film which didn't have the regenerative powers ability.
Pretty impressive. Sounds cool. Now I'm thinking about posting my fanfiction as well. But I need to work up the courage to first.
Okay, great. Now I haven't drawn it myself, but I do have a detailed description of it. Here is the topic I posted it on.

Feel free to make improvements if you need to. And take your time with it. I'm in no hurry I didn't realize this would be my 666th post. Interesting.
yeah bro im pretty sure thats his hand. i would like for his feet to look like that, but that exact scene was described in the nautlius leak a while back. besides, how else would you explain the differences between the way it looks in that shot and the way it looks in the airport shot, one's his right foot and one's his left foot? its his hand, he's getting back up
it is a huge possiblity however, seeing the thickness of this new godzilla it seems to me like his skin resembles that of an armoured hide which would be amazing :)
Hmmm, could mean anything. A scene(HIGHLY UNLIKELY), an extended trailer, a featurrete, a short clip or an interview. Who knows. We`ll just have to wait and see.
oh wait a minute silly me welcome to the godzilla forums godzillahooser :)
by the way can we please wait until a new trailer is released before we can all agree on what it is you are saying?
i get what you are trying to say but i think we should wait just a bit longer :)
Chris and another member have already uploaded this so I'm gonna go ahead and lock this.
well that poster i keep talking about that was removed needs to be re-released it was once available on ebay until warner bros. found out about it and then had ebay remove it. i can tell you this though it had godzilla firing his atomic breath at the winged muto, it showed akira takarada in the bottom left hand corner of it along with some one else. i know who that person is but i will give you a hint on who it is her last film she played in was "godzilla final wars." ;)
I think we are talking about different seen. He is for sure not 'getting up'.
In the scene I'm talking about the dispusted hand/foot is descending to the ground
thanks for clearing that up there mikeynamez :)
I hope @godzilalhimslef is right, ive been dreaming of seeing the original comic con footage since i heard about it all that time ago! On the other hand i'd love to see some new footage, by new footage i dont mean odd snippets from previous trailers and tv spots, i mean a brand new trailer with brand new shots! 95% of me doesnt want to see any more..but that other 5% is just going crazy for MOOOOAAAARRRRR :p
These three-way battles between the military, Muto and the G-man are gonna be insane.
It sounds good, but I think it is preferable to keep it for yourself unless you got some copyrights. Yes, you can get the rights for any literal work as secondary work in this case, which means that any ideas and events on text are totally yours, even if it based on the work of other companies; the limitation obviously is you cannot use it for commercial porpouses unless you get the license from the owners.
hey guys please for the love of god and for the love of this site dont argue about this stuff please you all need to stop this right now before it gets out of hand. :)
Hes not falling down, hes getting back up. If you fall flat on your face how would you get up.? ... Put your two arms out and push yourself up. Also if you look on the left you can see the spikes on his back.
