In 2014 Legendary's Godzilla brought the King of the Monsters back from a 10 year hiatus. In 2016 Shin Godzilla solidified his popularity in Japan becoming the highest grossing, live action Japanese film of the last three years.
Godzilla's popularity is only growing in his homeland. Universal Studios Osaka, Japan will be showcasing a 4D Godzilla attraction. The interactive theater experience is joined by attractions based on other popular franchises such as Mobile Suit Gundam and Attack on Titan.

Based on the trailer's dates, Godzilla: The Real 4D experience will (at least) open in Universal, Osaka early 2017 and run through early summer.
