Legendary Pictures' Godzilla (2014) sequel will be arriving in theaters in 842 days from today releasing on March 22nd, 2019. So far we have very little to go by in terms of plot details, cast and even a director. However, we do know Legendary intend to bring three Titans from the classic Godzilla era back for a Hollywood debut - Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah. We have been led to believe the 4 monsters, including Godzilla will clash in an epic Monster brawl.
With lack of any actual news regarding the film's development circulating, we occasionally highlight fan creations worthy of mention to help keep the hype alive and the following piece by artist "Tapwing" from DeviantArt is one that we had to share. It features Rodan, Ghidorah, Mothra and Godzilla, the way many of us I'm sure envision the upcoming sequel. It's a remarkable piece that has reignited our excitement for Godzilla 2:
Just imagine this scene unfolding on the big screen. Let's hope Legendary deliver the kind of monumental destruction this kind of battle calls for!
As new details begin to surface for Godzilla 2, we will be sure to keep you updated. However, in the meantime let us know what you think of this incredible artwork! Also, let us know who you think should direct Godzilla 2, in the comments section below!
