These have all been available for viewing on the Godzilla Map of the Pacific website for weeks.  They are super cool!  Its awesome to know that they will be included on the home video releases as bonus features!  I always enjoy "secret" stuff like this, with old footage and conspiracy that tells the backstory of the film! :D

Also, am I nuts, or is the M.U.T.O. Files guy Joe Brody?  Sure sounds like Bryan Cranston...

^That appears to be the case.  Godzilla was refered to as a MUTO in the Godzilla: Awakening graphic novel, and his name "Gojira" came from Pacific island myths.

M.U.T.O. is basically an all-encompassing term for giant undocumented species, much like U.F.O. is a catchall term for any unknown aircraft. Godzilla eventually was given a name derived from Pacific Island mythology, while the two parasitic creatures that were found in the cavern were stuck with the name "M.U.T.O.".

For the sequel, it would be really cool to see a 'flaskback' scene, to when all types of giant creatures ruled/roamed Earth. Gareth, there is your DAM idea! Would love to see a reimagining of Anguilas, et al.
