Jared Krichevsky, the man who designed the Monsterverse Mechagodzilla also tried his hand at the evolutionary cousin to Godzilla along with fellow artist Matt Allsopp! Below is a fresh look at their rendition of what eventually became Titanus Doug. We initially saw artwork of this Godzilla descendent surface in the Godzilla vs. Kong art book but Krichevsky's rendition differs slightly, giving this Godzilla-like Hollow Earth Titan / Proto-Zilla a bulkier appearance. Although not given much screentime, this Titan was a fascinating addition to the Monsterverse lore as it gave us a sense of where Godzilla and his species came from and how they evolved over centuries in the Hollow Earth!
