Below is the old plot synopsis originally put out when the GvK sequel was first announced compared to the new one just released by Legendary.

Coming off the global success of 2021’s “Godzilla vs Kong” cameras are now rolling on the latest entry in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic Monsterverse. This latest entry follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence – and our own.
