The Nijigen no More amusement park is about to get a massive visitor. Toho's Chief Godzilla Officer, Keiji Ota, announced the inclusion of a life sized Godzilla attraction at the Awaji Island location.
Called the Godzilla Interception Operation Awaji, visitors will be able to zip line into Godzilla's mouth and take on missions to fight the King of the Monsters, including destroying his G-Cells. Toho and the Nijigen no More amusement park released a video prelude to these missions:
Ota released designs for the attraction via concept art and miniatures. Based on the 2016 design from the Japanese Academy Award winning Shin Godzilla - currently Toho's flagship design for the Monster King - Godzilla will run up to 55 meters in length and sit 25 meters in height. Though only so much of Godzilla will be seen, it is the first full scale replica of him to date.

The Godzilla Interception Operation Awaji should be open to the public next summer!
