Godzilla fans might not like this one! This latest piece of Godzilla vs. Kong fan artwork has turned the tables and gives the under dog Kong the victory over Godzilla as the new King of Monsters!
Inspired by sketch art provided by the talented Bill Couture, the following render was created by Andrea Olovcic and shows King Kong wearing a decapitated and hollowed out Godzilla head as a makeshift crown! Check it out:

As much as we love Godzilla, this is some badass artwork worthy of recognition.
Interestingly enough, early toy image leaks for Godzilla vs. Kong depicted Kong using a makeshift Axe, with the blade looking a lot like one of Godzilla's dorsal plates. It has been debate and speculated that at some point during their battles, Kong will rip off one of Godzilla's spines and fashion his weapon with it. If Kong ever was.... or is... able to defeat Godzilla, we have no doubts he would showcase his victory in a similar manner to this artwork. Of course, we doubt Kong will defeat Godzilla this time, but until the film lands next May (new release date), we won't know for sure.
