Godzilla Singular Point continues its award season charge with a nomination for special effects excellence. The 2022 JAPAN-VFX awards, which honors Japanese effects work, has nominated Singular Point for the TV Animation CG category.
The series was produced by animation studios Orange and Bones. CG directors Ryuichi Ikeuchi, Yuji Koshida and Seishi Suzuki are being honored for their work on the latest Godzilla story. Awards will be announced in March.
In addition to the Special Effects award, Godzilla Singular Point was also recently nominated for a Japan Science Fiction Award, the latter of which will be announced this next month.
