Godzilla had Green Atomic Breath in early concept art for Godzilla vs. Kong!

Did you know Godzilla might have had green atomic breath in his first match-up with Kong in Warner Bros. & Legendary's Godzilla vs. Kong? If this early concept art by Igor-Alban Chevalier hadn't been discovered you might not have! It's unknown whether or not the green atomic ray was ever seriously considered as a potential evolution of Godzilla's breath in the movie or if it was simply Chevalier getting creative. Interestingly, earlier this year, a successor to Takashi Yamazaki's Godzilla Minus One Gojira also sported green atomic breath. Why is Green becoming such a popular color for Godzilla's atomic breath? We don't know yet.

Godzilla's atomic ray did evolve throughout Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, but the color was pink – a decision that was met with mixed reactions by fans. After prematurely being leaked last year, the WGA listing for Godzilla x Kong: Supernova is back, with SpaceGodzilla in the credits list again!
