Legendary Comics will produce a prequel graphic novel to Godzilla 2: King of the Monsters which will cover events leading up to those which take place in the film! This prequel novel will arrive April 16th of next year, according to Amazon. The comic will be written by Arvid Nelson (also author of Skull Island: The Birth of Kong) and illustrated by Drew Johnson. Currently no cover artwork has been revealed and in terms of plot, below is the only description we have at the moment:
