It's been a while since we had any concrete updates on the Godzilla 2014 sequel directed by Michael Dougherty, but today, it was revealed that Warner Brothers and Legendary Pictures have begun early test screenings for Godzilla: King of the Monsters! Tweeted through Tiwtter by verified user Jeremy Conrad, it appears the first of these test screenings begin tonight:

Test screenings are a means for the studio to gauge early reactions to a film by a variety of audiences so that any kinks can be ironed out prior to release. Although most test screenings feature a film lacking polished CGI and an accompanying score, major plot details are usually exposed. Attendees are also obligated to sign NDAs to prevent these sensitive details from leaking prematurely, so the likelihood of any serious spoilers making their way online are unlikely, however general reactions are allowed and encouraged. That being said, be sure to keep an eye on here as we report on the first batch of reactions to Godzilla 2 as they hit the web.
