This past week contained a ton of new announcements and updates for a variety of kaiju merchandise. First off, a new custom Gigan (1972) resin kit by Beast Lab Collectibles was revealed. The new kit will come unpainted, stand at around 6.5" tall, and will be limited to only 30 pieces. You can pre-order the kit now for approximately $120 through the official Beast Lab Collectibles Facebook page.
Next up, Heroes & Villains revealed a new Godzilla themed apparel line. The line consists of several movie poster inspired hoodies and shirts that are now currently available from Heroes & Villains official website.
Some new information for the upcoming Art Spirits Super Gekizo Series Burning Godzilla (2019) figure has been revealed. Pre-orders for the figure will open on September 25th and it will be released in February of 2021, although pricing for the figure has not been released yet.
Some interesting new Godzilla vs. Kong costumes have been discovered. All three of the costumes are made by the legendary Rubie's Costume Company, with the two inflatable pieces being re-releases of prior costumes. However, the Kong Jumpsuit appears to be an entirely new item altogether. All three of the new costumes were recently found at Walmart.
Spiral Studio released a new teaser image of their upcoming Burning Godzilla (2019) statue. The piece appears to feature Godzilla with Mothra's wings, likely depicting Godzilla using his Nuclear Pulse attack during Godzilla: King of the Monsters. No additional information about the statue is available at this time.
Lastly, CAST announced that they are reissuing their Godzilla 1998 Special Effects Encyclopedia Ornament. The resin statue will cost approximately $66, although it will cost significantly more if you live outside of Japan since you will have to purchase it from a secondary market source like eBay or Yahoo Auctions Japan.
