Best villains too. Biollante, The Destroyer, King Ghidorah, Kong...Just magnificent.
They'are also the most powerful, by far. The only one that comes close is Final Wars Godzilla, which is amazing in his own right.

Assuming that's exactly what it's like. Remember, concept art is usually highly exaggerated by artists. (Often so they can keep their job and work on more art for the movie.)
I remember being shown concept art of Darth Vader's slaughter at the end of Rogue One--It was over-the-top and gory enough to land in an R rated movie.
The chances of this being altered from paper to picture is high.
Chris: I don't think anyone is saying they don't expect Godzilla would win in the end, but it's the way he wins and how he does it that matters, as well as his "winning pose" and aftermath, those are pretty spoilerish in that painting.
No I mean for example the mothra monarch alert shows a part where mothra is looking down at the screen that was never seen before and a part where she is flying and screams in a clip that was never seen before in any trailer or tv spot this rodan clip does show one clip of him opening his eye and emerging from the volcano which was seen before but there was also a clip of him flying that was never scene.

thank you so much for this spoiler! I have a date for the film... I think, and I don't want to start screaming in front of her and get shut down when shit goes bad like in the Brooklyn bridge 98 scene or like when shin shit the bed for that entire puke fest 2016. Only difference is I got a real girl to say she would see this Godzilla 2 film with me. I really like this lady but may have talked to her about Godzilla too much and ended up coming off like King Koopa. Told her Godzilla is coming for her at month's end and she did not respond. I'm not joking. I m getting two tickets and hitting her up. Haven't stormed a castle for a princess in a year and I think this is the one. I can't wait till this film good Godzilla x2 cuz I'm really stoked for the lady (more so than the film sorry big guy, you understand the Kong blood and all) and everything else about this film except for King Ghidorah's death looks like a fuckin dream come true. Please save King Ghidorah quick fix it man do it now! DO IT

Obviously the ends of Ghidorah's tails are serves to hitting. The rattle noise was only added to give it more sinister, like the Dilpohosaurus frill from Jurassic Park: if you pay attention, each time it unfolds, it sounds a rattle.
Remember that scene where Rodan is riding Ghidorah like a wagon in the air?
Well, in this teaser, we get a slightly extended look at it. Rodan almost looks like he LEAPED ON Ghidorah, like some kinda lava-infused frog.
Definitely 2014 and 1998.

That haunting screech he utters every time he uses his gravity beams is especially cool, at least in my opinion. Though I'm wondering why Ghidorah doesn't have any MONARCH teasers this time around.
What next: Ghidorah sounds like a generic dragon/hydra?

I feel like it would work better if we went to Godzilla's time in the Permian instead of a story in which ancient humans had to live alongside Godzilla (kind of like DangerVille's "Walking With Godzilla" fan-film or like the first episode of season 1 of the BBC tv-series "Primeval"). Just a suggestion.
But it's not a bad idea, though.

As for my opinion, I think they are used for slashing (sharp-edged tail), bashing (club tail), intimidation, and constricting (like a snake).
JHT That's what the marketing says, but I know otherwise. (IF you have seen the previous trailers and TV spots, that is.)
