What will Godzilla and Kong look like in Godzilla x Kong: Supernova? Well, if the supposed leaks and rumors circulating are true, Kong will be sporting a form of augmented body armor / exotic-suit, courtesy of Monarch and Godzilla will be reverting back to a more nostalgic design. Also, the Evolved pink dorsal plates will be gone (although we already knew that was likely given official remarks stating the Evolved power up was only temporary) and replaced by purple ones! While unconfirmed, the thought of these stylistic revisions have prompted some fans to envision the possibility – and that's exactly what Kira Zhuravel has created. The following artwork depicts Kong and Godzilla from the upcoming Godzilla x Kong: Supernova film, if rumors and leaks prove legitimate:
This depiction, along with those rumors have prompted a polarizing response from fans – the consensus seems to be fans are not keen on the Kong exo-suit but are highly in favor of a return to 2014-form Godzilla with purple dorsal plates.
Now, it's important to note that no official leaks have surfaced with enough legitimate backing to prompt belief in these rumors, but we are expected to receive our first official look at Godzilla x Kong: Supernova next week at CinemaCon following Toho's showcase of Godzilla Minus Zero. Only then will we have a clearer understanding of what Kong and Godzilla will actually look like in the next film.
