Finally we get to hear Rodan's new roar. It's not bad.

Rodan. Sounds. AWESOME

I wonder if Godzilla's noises underwater resemble the kind you'd actually hear from giant animals living under the sea.

Better make sure people use THIS thread over the other one dedicated only to Rodan, since this one contains all 3 teasers.

Really disappointed in Rodan's roar. Doesn't sound anything like him.

It's only a small snippet that's closely followed by other more familiar sounds.

Hopefully they all congregate into something that actually sounds like Rodan in the movie.

G. H. (Gman): Yeah, I have to agree, doesn't sound like Rodan to me, at least the classic Rodan roar. Hopefully, the full roar will be closer to his traditional roar.

Let's not completely deride things though.

I personally thought it was okay on its own.

Rodan's roar is a bit too high pitched. If they lowered the pitch a bit it would likely sound more authentic.

Maybe that's it. It sounds absurdly, Hollywood generic--No identity at all with the creature its coming from.

What next: Ghidorah sounds like a generic dragon/hydra?

Nah, he's got some pretty memorable sounds already.

That haunting screech he utters every time he uses his gravity beams is especially cool, at least in my opinion. Though I'm wondering why Ghidorah doesn't have any MONARCH teasers this time around.
