@ BIGBADBEN again .... and also , i'm a atheist , and i actually came up with this story after overhearing some1 listening to the song come sail away , hence the inclusion of several of the satanists and atheist losing their lives when godzilla smashed the prison building , allowing the rest of the satanists and atheists to get away ! and also , i just wanted to write a entertaining story , and lastly , the policies of christianity were actually STOLEN from other religions !

you are right gman2887 but i still dont agree with the kong winning crap because the last i checked apes,chimpanzes,and gorillas can not breathe underwater where godzilla can but as far as anything else in the movies no i believe you got it all down man besides yes godzilla does lose but he does also win on the ocassions so the way i look at it every monster old and new wins and loses

@BIGBADBEN ok , here's the backstory to father alexander , the leader of the crimson crucifix , he was a born christian fanatic and he had always visioned a world where christianity wuz the only religion , and when he reached his 40s , he formed the crimson crucifix to make his dream come true , luckily he failed and died along with his entire organization , as explained in the climax of the story !

What I'm hoping for is the same emotional intencity that existed within the movie Cloverfield. The absolute shock! The immediate impact of helplessness over the magnitude of the creature!!! as a huge dinosaur fanatic in the sixties, the evolution to Godzilla fandom was seemless and a natural fit. When Godzilla vs the Smog Monster hit theaters, I was hopelessly hooked for life. The first movie I took my then "baby brother" to was Godzilla vs Megalon! I just bought it and we watched it again for the first time in decades. Unfortunately, my wife just doesn't get it.... LOL

@Saiyaman_Unleashed You indeed best me as far as how much you've seen. Been itching to watch [i]Max[/i] and [i]Ultraseven[/i]. Of the others, which could you recommend to me as some must sees? @Dr. Professor K.M. Have you seen the two parter with Gomora from the original series? By far a couple of my favorite episodes. I'm glad he was utilized so favorably in the [i]Ultra Galaxy[/i] movie. I recently ordered the full trilogy, so I can't wait to watch them again.

I'd love to see Bagan in the new film, or at least a monster similar to him in design or powers. That be a great way to introduce the monster to both movie goers and fans (hardcore or otherwise).

i just remember my first movies being Godzilla vs. Biollante and Vs. King Ghidorah from a vhs tape here in America. i just remember being amazed and realizing that Godzilla is a GOD.

I've only seen half of the original Ultraman series and one of the Ultraman Zero movies, but from what I've seen it's pretty great. Gomora is, by far, my favorite Ultra monster.

Think about the original Godzilla movie. I mean Godzilla was show for a few seconds in the beginning, the two attacks, then at the end. These scenes didn't take up much of the movie. Godzilla doesn't need much time to to create a huge impact. If there are other monsters involved though you can be pretty sure we'll be seeing plenty of the big guy. And since when is 100 million dollars an "under funded" movie? I guess I must be getting old...

I love the Ultraman series! And while I wasn't sure about it, I actually really dig the Ultraman Zero series, and all the cameos from previous Ultramen, popular and unpopular, even the cartoons! I've seen Ultraman, Ultraseven, Ultraman Leo, Ultraman Nexus, Ultraman the Next, Ultraman Mebius, Ultraman Max, Ultraman Neos, The Cosmos Movies, Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Towards the Future, and some of Ultraman Powered. My favorite Ultraman series is a tie between Ultraseven and Ultraman Nexus. Favorite Ultraman is Ultraseven. I like his fighting style and the stories were very engaging for me.

The first attempt at this thread dis disapproved by your's truly, because it contained offensive slander towards a religious figure. This is against our rules of conduct and content policies. I allowed the third attempt at this topic because offensive remarks were removed and if people really want to discuss Godzilla vs. God, then fine, but your arguments and comments MUST abide by our rules. #2 - InstyinctiveGigan makes good points - this is getting childish. As a Christian myself, I'm forced to be somewhat biased, and for some of you in this topic to make a claim that "Christians bother you" is ignorant and baseless. You can't categorize every Christian into on group and take your frustration out on them. #3 - The fact that there is a second topic for this already is beyond me and I'll be locking them both. This seems to be not a discussion about Godzilla, but instead an outlet for pissed off atheists to vent their misguided frustration. If you don't agree with this ruling, I'm sorry but you'll just have to deal with it. Contribute actual thought-provoking discussions, not pointless rants, which go against our rules of conduct. A Godzilla forum is not place for religious debate. If you think Christianity is oppressive, that's your opinion. But I will correct you that Satanism is in fact looked at far more negatively than atheism-- if only because of the misconception of what satanism actually is.

@InstinctiveGigan I agree, although I question the presence of any moderators. I recently sent an inquiry about whether or not moderators frequent this forum. @KingofMonsters6 That's fine. Prove Godzilla is the most powerful kaiju in the universe. But from what I've studied, the gods in different religions are not kaiju, thus there's not really a point in including gods from organized religions in the conversation. But remember, Godzilla has lost to other kaiju, so there's a flaw with that argument as well. ;)

That's still not any better of an explanation. If Christians offend you, then I apologize, but your inflicting a offensive stories and baiting on a forum where religious debate is fairly odd. This is no place to put that kind of stuff on a Godzilla forum and, quite frankly, it inadvertently offends other religions as well. It's not a very good way for others to see your point of view and, quite frankly, it clutters the forum. If I may recommend, if you must sound of your dislike for Christianity, take it to another forum please. I don't think a Godzilla forum is the place to do it.

No one with the exception that you've already been told its fairly offensive to some people and there's really no point in creating three different threads with the same topic. Let me ask you this, what's the point of having three different threads of the same topic? Why couldn't you put it in the first topic to begin with? At the moment it just looks like you're trying to get attention, and to some extent it's working, and trying to bait people into getting mad. It's not very good PR for yourselves.

Gareth Edwards, the director of the movie did. :) Based on everything he said it just doesn't seem like any of these songs would fit. Perhaps if were more like Iron Man, then yes. But the director is going for a much different feel that rock music probably would gel with very well. Just because something sounds "cool" or even "fits the character" doesn't mean it would fit the mood of the movie. Movies aren't music videos. They don't need to cater to such.

@ BIGBADBEN i used the idea of 2 unlikely allies teaming up to take on a common enemy , in this case , satanism and atheism teaming up to escape their imprisonment by the crimson crucifix ! but they don't accomplish the task alone ! they have unlikely help from godzilla himself ! and by the way , the crimson crucifix is a religious cult and organization that seeks to make christianity the ONLY religion , by getting rid of every other religion , starting with satanism and atheism , their 2 most bitter rivals ! they kidnap satanists and atheists and control them as slaves , slowly killing them through forced labor ! this story has a moral , and that moral is , religion can lead to people doing some evil things !
