i'd would prefer gigan, megalon titanosaurs and biollante in homage forms, infact i think titanosaurs as a whole monster would be cool. he was unique and has only been in 1 film.

well the oxygen destroyer is scientificaly imposible so we can exactly use that. and godzillafan1995 nobody said we want godzilla to die. this all hypothetical. we have no idea if he dies. i just wanted to see what ideas the community would have to respectfully kill him if garreth decided to go that route in the future
@LinkZilla That would be an instant box office success for the 3rd Godzilla movie's ending. That idea would be perfect.
Yes humans should ultimately be the ones to stop him. He may represent a mistake in the first one but as the series progresses, which it hopefully will, would the characters and society as a whole not learn from that mistake? The ultimate way to rectify that mistake is for the humans to be the ones to conquer him.
I wonder if the Godzilla 2000 suit at the Godzilla Encounter was sort of a first look as to what Godzilla would look like...Because G2014 looks a lot like G2000 in my opinion...which is absolutely awesome!
Of course there are some obvious differences....G2014 spikes are much more haphazard and shattered looking, everytime I see a pic similar to this of G2014, I cant help and think of G2000...
I honestly believe Gareth took G54 and G2000...and sort of hit a sweet spot between the two...
This new design is a God-send in my opinion...I love everything about it! I even like the feet! (Don't see what the issue is there! Honestly never thought the original TOHO Godzilla's could nail the feet! The toes always stuck upwards in a strange fashion and never seemed to look right when they walked!)
But hey, that's my opinion...

so durp you want godzilla weakened and attacked by humans, the one thing that shouldn't be able to defeat him, the theme of this new movie is that godzilla is something humaity cannot defeat as it is their mistake to have him in a ;last stand with humanity, that may sound good but that still ruins what godzilla represents, a force of nature that humanity is responsible for, if humanity has even one chance of defeating him, they will not learn as a whole.
als i wasnt specifically saying that this isn't a fans movie in that way, i was saying in a way where it is not going to be any of the previous godzilla movies except for a similar theme to gojira but it maybe different to that. also i meant in the fact that there will be no toho monsters and that would be pretty stupid to do, orginal monsters are a better option.

also even a general will be pissed if he dies even in sequels this movie might have. the only way for godzilla to have a good honourable death that is good is to have a son, but that sounds cheesy and audiences may get confused with a godzilla jr bein his biological son and think g is female like in 1998.
To say a movie is not made for the fans is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Sure it can also encourage other people to get into the series, but at heart it's trying, as Edwards has said multiple times, to stay true to the source material and not upset the fans.
As for how he would die, I'd like the final movie to have him just fighting an unstoppable Kaiju that seems impossible to beat, then after Godzilla finally beats the monster but is gravely wounded. Humans use this chance and attack the weakened monster with everything they have as the final scene is Godzilla making a last stand against the humans he's been fighting so long.
why would you want him to die, more importantly why on earth would they use the GvsD plot/ending that would bethe stupidist thing to do, why does everyone think they willl use destoryah at somepoint, i'd rather see a homage of megalon than anything linkedto destoryah, the heisei series maybe the best but thats mostly because of godzilla not the monsters, also this is a movie for a those who haven't taken godzilla seriously and for a new generation, this is not a movie made for fans.

There's misleading information about the Muto toy (somebody apparently doesn't read news so often) so don't care about that!
I doubt they will kill him but if they do I will be a bit mad.

It might just be detecting the word "monster" and responding to "monster" queries in that way.
Yeah I typed that in too. That's pretty weird. Maybe the MUTO's are codenamed "MONSTER X" or something.
I think they should have a very screechy roar. A bit like the Cloverfield monster's roar and also a bit like Ebirah's roar too. It has to sound very insect-like.
@KING_OF_ZOMBIES, ur right I agree. personally, I think the monsters is going to be a silhouette in the shadows for the movie but that's my opinion only if u disagree, I woudlnt be supprised,my friends dissagree.

Yeah I relised the head the first time I watched it. At first I thought it was just a piece of the train coming off but when I looked closely I noticed a head or a claw.
The pen drawing showed in the video looks great, I hope the CGI is gonna be that good.

I loved the way the aliens from "Monsters" sounded. Very deep and meaningful. Not even roars, but their calls to eachother. Echoey. Love the echo. Loved the way Clover sounded as well.
WOW...I have seen this trailer again and again, and i have seen the sketch before, but i never noticed the eyes. I feel absolutely stupid.
