MemberMothra LarvaeJan-31-2014 1:52 PMOK guys, so apperantly this project was called "Nautilus" before it was called Godzilla,or that was it codename. I searched nautilus on google images, and I found this, and many other similar ones:
Did my research, its some kind of shrimp or molusk. I saw a post about a offical (i guess?) MUTO monster ability, it was some kind of super sonic speed jump or dash, and the creature looked extremely similar to this in the video that was in the post.I think, I THINK a shrimp like muto creature was confirmed or leaked, and someone was in this website was able to see a picture that was leaked. He/she described the monster as shrimp-like. When i went to see it,it was taken down, with a 404 not found. The post as called "2nd muto monster revelaed" if im not wrong, please tell me if you made the post in the comments :) Also, remember the dead creature from the leaked comic con footage? The creature was kind of round... like the legs werent straight, they were curved.. and there is a lot of fanart that has a creature looking like this. My speculation? Here it goes:
Much like Godzila vs. Biollante, the M.U.T.O organization pretty much find a way to take or get Godzilla's cells. They need a monster to kill Godzilla. They mix its cells with this 'nautilus' and we get the comic con creature.
You have to keep in mind, the creature may not be used which make all this bullcrap talk. Mayb they will use it with a redesign, but i know this animal and the word nautilus have a huge role in the movie....
One more thing out of topic... i dont want this movie to fell like any other toho movie. Like, every year or two they used to get a movie. They wouldnt go crazy for it after the first 5 movies, they even fans would be like oh look, new movie. They wont go crazy for it. We are going crazy for this one. We want it to feel special, and the enemy must be unbelievably strong, in a way we would never imagine, for them to pull it off well. We need to see EXTREMELY desperate humans, and worldwide monster problems or radiation leaks of some kind. Point is, change every aspect of Godzilla movies. More desperate humans, worldwide problem, realistic Godzilla and atomic blast strength, deadly enemies, and a really well thought plot.
Sorry for going off topic, i didn't feel like doing two posts :)

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-31-2014 3:27 PMThe film production was called Nautilus under Nemo Productions, which is of course-- a code name. The code name itself is more of a reference to Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, a novel by Jules Verne.
What this has to do with anything is subjective-- honestly I think it was done impart as a cute reference to old Godzilla King of the Monster trailers in which they claim that the film is "More Fantastic than anything ever written by Jule's Verne".
But I could be wrong.

As a fan of all that is concise, you may want to redirect this to the discussion that has already begun (quite recently).

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-31-2014 5:39 PMIf any of this is true, I've lost all faith in this movie and it WILL be a flop.... super sonic speed jump... SMH, i hope not.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-31-2014 5:39 PMWell if you look at the... well.. hands.. of a shrimp and the way it's hands/claws are shaped they are shaped like whatever rips the train in half in the teaser trailer so maybe there is something to this.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-31-2014 7:01 PMA giant mutated mantis-shrimp! It's the gulp pipeline's doing! LOL In reality those are some pretty ornery critters, their claws can bust through any shell...

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-31-2014 9:29 PMNone of the MUTOs are likely to be mollusks. The MUTO creatures identities are not confirmed or revealed in any way. The only details we know are that one of them is multi limbed, and the other has wings.
But what does that say?
Is one of them an insect, an arachnid (yes they are different), is it another kind of animal with a mutation that gives it multiple limbs, is it a seagoing creature? We don't know.
The one with wings. Is it a bat, a bird, an insect, a flying mammal? We don't know.
Nothing you've heard regarding the MUTOs "species" is confirmed or legitimate. Anything claiming confirmation of what the MUTOs are up to this point is pure bs and you should not pay any attention to it or give it any mind.
Nothing about the MUTOs "species" is confirmed yet. That's really the only hard fact we have right now.
