@BCRockett94, I probably should've cleared that up.  I didn't mean to make it sound like I was saying that it WAS a dinosaur I was just using "Godzillasaurus" as a placeholder for the creature affected by the radiation.

I think we've already figured out he's not going to be 700 feet tall.

Simply by using San Francisco's geographical elevation differences we've been able to place Godzilla's location on a hill that's literally right next to the referenced building.

Also, since when does "a little bit taller" mean "well shit, let's make him more than twice his highest height in cinematic history and call it 'just a bit taller'."?

Also, I wouldn't expect anything with dinosaurs being radiated to become giant monsters. If dinosaurs are a must for you, maybe radiation given off by the meteor that supposedly caused the dinos to go extinct. and then go off with your mutation theory you seem to have worked out.

I don't think the whole dinosaur thing would really cut it in a movie like this.

To be honest, I hope they don't go head first and try to explain Godzilla's existence. Because this movie is supposed to be "grounded in reality",  I don't think anyone would have the time or resources to uncover Godzilla's origins.

I dont want to hear a song in the movie.

But if i had to pick one, id go with "Godzilla" by Blue Oyster Cult.

It doesnt fit the tone at all, no, but as i said, i wouldnt want a song. So then i just might as well choose BBO`s Godzilla song. But if Radioactive was in the movie, anywhere, i would be annoyed.

We don't know anything yet but I hope he does and he most probably will.

Director of the Shawshank Redemption Frank Darabont is a huge Godzilla and Kaiju movie fan (he actually had a cameo as one of the biplane pilots in Peter Jackson's King Kong) and he was asked to come aboard and do a rewrite to the script.  He did an interview which I have provided the link to below.  It quotes him in the second paragraph about him writing Godzilla as a "terrifying force of nature" as opposed to a "mascot."  Darabont's rewrite was the last of te rewrites to be done to the script.

@Primal King, Godzilla was the first thing that came to mind when I first heard that song, I love it, I think it fits perfectly too, but there are A LOT of people who have gotten into some pretty serious arguments on here regarding that song.  I just try not to talk about it haha.

I don't know, Radioactive sound pretty good for this movie, depending on the action scenes. like "this is it, the apocalypse." or "It's a revolution I suppose." along woth "breathing in the chemicals" "I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust" All sound nice for godzilla. :)

Yes, I do need a link to "confirm such a thing". I'm not someone who just blindly accepts things that people tell me. Which is why I'm considered a major A--hole by most people.

This wasd actually a topic from a while back.  The listing of 100 minutes was a listing for all movies that they didn't have official times for on some website.  Not to worry I'm willing to bet it will likely be over 2 hours like other movies of it's ilk. I trust Gareth Edwards to deliver us a healthy helping of Godzilla goodness.... tasty tasty goodness....

@Shazothehedghog, Well, that all depends on what series your connecting it back to....in the Heisei series they talk about this Godzilla as though he is the old Godzilla becuase they claimed that a corpse was never recovered.  In the Millennium Series, however, that Godzilla was killed, by the Oxygen Destroyer.  Then they recovered the bones years later and used them as the frame for Mechagodzilla so they could kill the current Godzilla.

Anyways, yeah I'm more wiling to take more familiar sources with ties to WB than speculation no offense man.  I also honestly can't really see them waiting till March to come out with another trailer either though... that's a long time between releases.  I could see a THIRD trailer (or second Trailer to the first real one coming which will hopefully come out next week if you wnt to look at it that way) coming out with 300, but they need to get this ball rolling pronto.

As much as I want both, I think that'd be the point at which the movie might feel very crowded in terms of daikaiju. Which isn't a bad thing, but then they should stop advertising this movie as a very human centric movie.

The fact that it's coming from a Brewery site is what really makes this seem... Not legit. Didn't Max Borenstein say that the movie was going to be about two hours, and that's without all of the special effects shots and CGI heavy scenes.

to be honest, No Since realising Godzillas foot is small I thought it be interesting to make a teaser poster were they give away of how his foot looks like.

I'm also fairly sure we'll get another trailer with 300, the "Main Trailer", but I also believe we'll get something next week.

For one, the site that proposed the air date of a new trailer is partnered with WB pictures, so that alone wins me over. And Chris has proved he has truly legit sources. I take proof over speculation. Sorry Josh.

I really hope your wrong (not to come off as an asshole) it's just that we have all been waiting for a new trailer, and now, we have two sources, one being an official source that is partnered with WB (and they have also projected trailer dates with 100% accuarcy).
