KYERO.... shut up
Now imma give you a hint on why your post made absolutely no sense and was totally useless: I wrote "what if" and "maybe" in my topic.
Now figure it out
Jhosuahopkins, the height is about 24" inches/ 2 feet tall.
1. Godzilla vs. Gypsy Danger = Godzilla
Gypsy has a lot going for her, but in the end she's still nothing but a robot controlled by humans who are fighting against a living creature with a near indestructible hide and a beam of pure, concentrated radiation which has enough force and incendiary power to completely annihilate Gypsy's armor and kill the pilots within.
2. Mothra vs. Mutos = N/A
Since the MUTO's have no known form or identity, this match-up is null and void and a winner cannot be declared.
3. Avengers vs. Mechagodzilla = Avengers
Thor alone could take Mechagodzilla. All he'd have to do is either outlast Mechagodzilla's power supply (Thor was known to have fought against an army for 9 months without showing signs of fatigue), or just fry MechaG's circuits with a well placed blast of Thunder. Mecha-G is cool and all, but he is one of Godzilla's most overrated foes along with King Ghidorah.
4. Ebirah vs. Kraken = Kraken
Squid/Octopi naturally feed on crustaceans and other sea life forms and are rarely meals themselves. If the Kraken was scaled properly to Ebirah's size, it'd be no contest. One quick wrap of Ebirah's claws and the Kraken has the fight won straight away.
5. Godzilla vs. Gamera = Undecided
Both monsters have a lot going for them, and though a lot of us will favor Godzilla due to his "indestructibility," I have to disagree with the masses on that account.
When taking Godzilla's indestructibility into account, you have to remember that that's only against conventional human weaponry. His hide has been pierced several times against numerous other Kaiju, and there's no reason to believe that Gamera couldn't do the same with his tusks, elbow spikes, or even his shell if he built up enough speed to ram Godzilla.
Godzilla's greatest advantage in this fight is his durability, as Gamera is a bit more fragile in terms of hide density. However, Gamera has a few other advantages. He's more agile, capable of flight, and also has te ability to connect with the human race which grants him a few extra special perks.
Gamera's greatest strength against Godzilla will be his ability to fly, as Godzilla must remain firmly rooted on the ground to be effective. Once knocked down, his effectiveness decreases. All Gamera has to do is fly about, ram Godzilla to the ground, and then bombard him with fire blasts and maybe even fly stright down on top of him after pulling in his head and arms to allow the pointed section of the top of his shell to smash into Godzilla and possibly split him wide open.
Conversely, Godzilla could easily do the same to Gamera in terms of pure damage. If Godzilla were to get ahold of Gamera at any point and knock him to the ground on his back, it would probably only take one or two good blasts from his thermonuclear breath to compromise the durability of his shell, and then Godzilla could claw away or try to bite Gamera's softer flesh and tear him apart.
As I said, both monsters have a lot going for them and both have the potential to win this fight.
In the end, I honestly have to say it's a draw, as both of them would have to create very specific circumstances during the fight to be able to win. A straight up fight without the use of thermonuclear breath or fire ball attacks would likely be a stand off.
THey are talking of the 20" inches tall figure that was annouced previously. Obviously the length should be around the twice.
Actually, im 100% positive that there will be no toho monsters. And one of the main reasons is marketing purposes. Also, Banno had acquired the rights to Godzilla. He didnt need any other rights for his movie as he was creating a new monster for the movie. Also, by now.. youd think that someone at Legendary might have let it slip up that they have more rights than what people are letting on. If two trailers can manage to leak, a simple "weve got another toho monster!" Would be next to impossible to keep secret.
I have some doubts about it, because as someone said before getting the Godzilla license was already pricey for the studios, so another Toho monster means a great expense too, specially when WB/Legendary people are awaiting for the box office results before invest more money for a sequel idea.
But if they already put another kaiju (who knows), I think Destoroyah is an option, because his origins involves the usage of Oxygen Destroyer, the only thing that defeated the First Godzilla, we have an equivalent of Dr. Serizawa here, and the products details in the upcoming figures talk about eight-legged Mutos and winged Mutos, and Destoroyah passed through those stages already
Hey Dragonlord Tevin what's the big deal, who cares if I made a mistake about putting it in a 2014 discussion are you that obsessed that everything has to be perfect. This is a website where people can express there excitment about the new movie and disscuss original godzilla info so don't ruin the fun for me and in the future don't ruin it for other people.
Hmmm, are we directing the 2014 movie constrained by the premise that has already been established? Or can we just go off the handle?
For a constrained movie, I dunno, I would have a slow build up, hints that the MUTO's are coming, the MUTO organization covering it up, while Taylor Johnson and others invesitage to find the truth. Build it like an espionage/conspiracy movie, for the first 30 minutes or so, very little monster action.
Then the MUTO monsters show up/escape, all hell breaks loose. Aaron Taylor Johnson and the military get tasked with evacuation and cleanup...while Cranston tracks something similar to a MUTO monster, but MUCH bigger. He keeps trying to warn people, but they dismiss him as warning about more of the same, and they focus more of their efforts trying to get current problems under control, not bother themselves with new seismic activity.
Then an hour in: GODZILLA HOLY SHIT THAT IS WAY WORSE THAN A MUTO!!!!!
Spend the next 30 minutes half with with Godzilla destruction/smaller MUTO battles, evacuation/rescue missions, as people start vaguely learning that Godzilla and the MUTO's are somehow connected/drawn to each other. The other half spent with Serizawa and Cranston talking and Serizawa giving flashbacks to 1954, how he helped create all this mess, and giving vital clues how it can all be cleaned up.
Last half hour is an EPIC 3 way battle between the MUTO Boss, Godzilla, and the military armed w/ experimental tech, which ends with the MUTO dead for sure....Godzilla ambiguously defeated, and the military with a pyhrric victory that must now focus and rebuilding....and hope that something like this never, ever, happens again.
Now if I'm allowed to go off the walls, I'd like to see an Alien Invasion movie. Kinda rip off Pacific Rim a little bit, as the Aliens bring monsters down with them as weapons, with Godzilla being an anti-hero earth defender. Like, he's defending earth, but because earth is HIS territory, not anybody elses. You know, so Godzilla is all 'Get Off My Lawn' towards everybody, the aliens, the monsters, the humans....everyone. It wouldn't be a good or original movie, but it would be fun, and I would enjoy the crap out of it :-)
2 ideas for the plot in 2 comments
1st :
in this 1st idea , i'd include a gang in the plot , called the rap-rap gang , the main guy in the movie 1st encounters 3 of the gang members in a bar , cecil , tater tot , and butch , cecil has butch explain the rules to the main guy , and soon , the main guy punches cecil in the face , prompting him to challenge the guy to a duel in the alley , if the guy wins , the rap-rap gang leaves their turf for good , if the rap-rap gang wins , they stay on their turf , the guy wins the duel , and the rap-rap gang search for a new turf , later on in the movie , we see the rap-rap gang again , during godzilla's rampage through the city , and we see cecil , tater tot , and butch watch as godzilla destroys the headquarters of a rival gang of theirs , the tuff-tuff gang , and upon seeing this , butch says "that was cool" and cecil gives a evil laugh at the elimination of a threat to the rap-rap gang
2nd :
in the 2nd idea , godzilla would be the only monster in the movie
But i also forgot to mention that im totally gonna scrap my ideas up there^ because i know Godzilla 2014 will be too amazing for me to keep my ideas
the new movie is pretty much how I would direct it, except rated r and a lot of monster guts getting slpattered around.
OH SNAP! There it is! I was too distracted by those models badass Godzilla shoes (and hair) to notice it other than a cool statue. I had no idea it was a sellable collectible.
Thats what i said too, these arguments need to stop, even though im dragged into some arguments, im not the one who really starts them.
If another argument comes up again, which it basically will of course, ill try not to go with it anymore, as for im tired of these fights happening
Just say this... Dark, realstic, emotional, gritty, long, Rated R, no Toho monsters
INSTINCTIVEGIGAN, you are right, they got one of these figures at display at Godzilla Encounter, you can look at the pics:

There, these discussions are made for other opinions or agreements, not arguments
It suck compared to the original Godzilla.....I personally didn't like Godzilla 85, but to each his own....Still, it didn't suck any more or less than most of the other Godzilla movies if you're gonna pit them against the 1954 version.
I do wish that Zilla had more of Godzilla's abilities. I waited eagerly the whole film to see some atomich breath action, and I felt the whole scene where he got gunned down by planes was anti-climatic...but it was still an emotional scene for me anyways.
I just, I dunno, it's not the best Godzilla movie ever, and there are plenty of things I wish they had done differently. But it's DEFINITELY not the worst Godzilla movie ever, yet it seems to get the most hate.
Maybe I'm bias/overly nostalgic. Godzilla 98 was the very first Godzilla movie I got to see in theaters. I was 9 years old, and just thought the whole experience of FINALLY seeing Godzilla on the big screen instead of watching my worn out VHS tapes of Gigan and Mechagodzilla was AWESOME. I wasn't that critical of it since I was a kid.
After the movie, I read the novelization, and enjoyed that....the movies release meant GODZILLA TOYS became available to me for the first time ever.....like toys my parents would actually buy....like $10-$30 toys at walmart, and not $70-120 collectors toys from overseas. Blockbuster started carrying Godzilla movies's again, so that really marked when I could start catching up on the Godzilla franchise....I only got to see 4/5 Godzilla films before the 1998 movie came out. So he didn't start my Godzilla passion, but he greatly accelerated it, and I appreciate him for it.
Maybe all of that clouds my judgement, but I just can't bring myself to hate him. HE WAS SO AWESOME at the time.
Wow, that is so awesome! I'd love to get one just to freak out my dogs, haha :D
I actually think I saw this thing at the Godzilla Encounter now that I think about it. I want it.
I stand corrected. Thank you, kind sir. This is awesome. I did not know about this one before.
Nope, this is the Bandai Super Premium Godzilla from 1994, by the time of Godzilla vs Space Godzilla movie.

The one in amazon is a Kaiyodo model kit almost twice in size of this guy. The figure on the pic should be about the same size of the 24" Jakks Pacific called release
I dont wanna discuss my whole thing lol but i already had my ideas for my own Godzilla movies, but all ill say is that id try to make a 3-part series with Orga being in the first.
I wont say more cuz i had people in my personal life who had literally steal my movie ideas haha but yeah thats all ill say
D. Tevin, I moved them to Classic Godzilla, no worries
Jeez, I mean I know every fandom have their ups and downs, but this is just sad. :( Godzilla 2014 is coming people, in a few months to be specific, we shouldn't be fighting or stirring trouble (HannibalBarca). We should be celebrating; trailer or not.
it was a better monster movie than most showa films, but it simply wasn't godzilla, and sucked when compared to movies like g 1985 and the origional gojira
Ehhh looks like you all dont mind this non-related to G2014 topic at all, so i guess its fine for this discussion to stay here then
Not fan made, but really, really expensive. I seen one at comic-con once.
you can gets one on amazon (at least I think it's the same thing):

i am now going to actually state my opinion, instead of argue
i totally thin it is possible, thsi kind of thing has been done before, like in star trek into darkness, even if it was kind of obvious
1. King Ghidorah (Ghidorah just to fly/fight smart. Keep his distance, and pelt him down w/ lighting bolts)
2. Gypsy Danger (Jet Jaguar always needs help to win his brawls, and has only melee weapons. In addition, I just don't like Jet Jaguar...does anybody really like him?)
3. Minilla.....definitely. I'm a lover, not a fighter lol
4. Hulk (Mothra Larvae isn't mobile enough to pin the Hulk down with that webbing, and we saw how the Hulk dealt with that giant space worm in the avengers :-)
5. Godzilla (If the Clash of the Titans methodology is to be believed, people have to believe in Zeus in order for him to survive. With the Ancient Greek and Roman cultures extinct, coupled with Godzilla's level of IDGAF, Zeus couldn't muster up enough believers to even materialize. Hell, I bet more people beleive that Godzilla is real than Zeus at this point :-)
6. Gamera (As much as I don't like Gamera, I must concede, he is still a powerful monster)
8. Godzilla (obviously Godzilla wins this fight. However, I really don't understand the hate on the 98 Godzilla movie.
Yes, Zilla was missing several of the trademark Godzilla characteristics. But it was still a cool design, and I liked it.
Not too mention, the special effects, plot, and characters were just as good, if not better than 75% or more of the actual Godzilla movies. I'm not trying to say that the 98 Godzilla had good special effects, plot, or characters....because it didn't....but NEITHER DO THE ACTUAL GODZILLA MOVIES. Like what holy grail of cinematic masterpiece (besides of the 54' Original, are we comparing the 98 Godzilla movie to that the 98 movie is viewed as SO BAD while the other cheesy campfests are suppsoedly SO GOOD? In my opinion, the 98' version was actually a BETTER movie than most Godzilla films.
Is the fact that he was missing atomic breath and had weak defenses such a travesty that the WHOLE MOVIE must be condemned? The movie's only major sin, in my opinion was that picked an awkward middle road. It wasn't close enough to the original Godzilla to please G-Fans, but it wasn't serious/realistic enough to please general audiences. Emmerich probably should have picked a direction and committed to it, rather than sitting on the fence.
But still, the movie doesn't deserve the bum rap that it gets from Godzilla fans. If we can all sit here and call Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla, or Godzilla vs Desotroyah, or GMK good Godzilla movies despite their faults, I feel that Godzilla 98 deserves to be called a good Godzilla movie as well, despite its faults. But that's just me I guess.
But...but...my wallet. Ugh, why don't people ever think about the wallets?! :(
Chris can u please just get rid of him, im tired of seeing these type of people who ruin our discussions
the olympians can be injured, i think zues woudl get k.o.ed by Godzilla
1. kg
2. jet jaguar, but only because of his size changing ability
3. give me my machete, and(assuming final wars minilla) i win
4. once a gain, i never root for the butterfly, and
HULK SMASH!!!
5.i'd say godzilla, remember what happened to king ghidorah when he shot lightning at godzilla in gmk?
6. gamera, just look at them
7. probably 2014
8. thats been answered, like twice already, even though it was already obvious
1) King Ghidorah (The Krakken would spend the entire fight doing a trailer shot only for Ghidorah to get bored and blast him away)
2) Jet Jaguar (Because he's the gosh-damn Jet Jaguar)
3) Me (I would hate Minilla to death; or I would write him out of existence seeing how he's fictional.)
4) Hulk vs Mothra Larva (Movies maybe Hulk; Godzilla: Save the Earth Mothra Larva could probably beat Goku I mean holy crap! XD)
5) Godzilla (Zeus can shoot...lightening. Yaaay!)
6) Eenie Meanie Minie Mo = Gorgo (I'm not a fan of either :P)
7) 2014 Godzilla (I know we don't know jack yet but his much bigger size already has him win IMO)
8) Godzilla vs Zilla (Final Wars) (Pretty much this)
