if they re-did the showa series

Its deffinitely not needed....

Best introduce a new series with new monsters.

unlike most of the millenium films which reused and re-introduced the same monsters again and had very few new monsters

Godzilla vs. Mothra '64 was pretty serious as well, but the fact is if these movies had stayed "dark and serious" we wouldn't have nearly as many Godzilla movies. They would've gotten stale and boring and the series wouldn't have last.

Besides, they tried remaking the Showa series. It was called the Heisei and Millennium series. Both were inferior to the Showa series and I would never change a single thing about it, especially not the 1960s films.

I don't think they should ever redo that series. 

I however would love nothing more than for them to redub Godzilla raids again since it's dub is horrible

I agree with Kaijujira, we need bold new monsters for Godzilla. That way even veteran fans of Godzilla won't know how the kaiju battle(s) will end.
