^ Not sure on that one. Maybe?
Deff Vegas ... Took this pic last year on Vacation, notice the rollar coaster in the back. Ill be staying there again in 2 weeks. Luckily for me Big G wont be destroying it until May :-P

It's the Statue of Liberty replica in Las Vegas, yes.
Now that's a GODZILLA they design soooooooooooooooo good!!! he a beauty
I was watching other videos on YouTube and the trailer was an advertisement, do advertisement views count toward the actual video views? It must be because only a handfull in the world knew when the trailer was coming.
MONSTER OF KAIJU
Maybe godzilla who craves nuclear energy from the bomb, ate it and maybe threw it up
Chris!! Dude! Put this on the fron page!! Nice find there, Kaijuufin.
It maybe one that isin san fransisco cause it may be apart of a roller coaster cause there were red tracks roller coaster tracks next to it :)
I think that statue of Liberty is the one from Las Vegas. Not entirely sure.
I think the red smoke was to signify where they were and so they don't get lost. The red smoke was like a flare so that they stay together. Idk we have to wait till the movie comes out.
I can already tell this movie is gonna be successful :D
The first trailer hit 10million views in 2 days and then stop...
Hope it won't happen to this one.
I agree with GMAN. I'd imagine if they were to create one, they would have already.
Here is an update, the trailer broke 4 million views just on Youtube in less the 24 hours
Not counting all the facebook views.
ACTually Godzilla 2014 isnt onnected to the 1998 movie at all :) if you listened to the trailer it said in 1954 the awoken something and it said 15 years ago from todat so that would be 1999 and it takes place in 2014 cause tat why the movies second name is godzilla 2014 not just godzilla and if you didnt read other sources he attacks hawaii as well and gareth wouldnt let that ronald ermmich disaster be connected to his movie :) and i love the overlapping sclaes on the neck there not gills people and see in this movie godzilla is still transformed dino and see in 1954 the nuclear test transformed it or in 1945 and then again they tried to kill him with another nuclear test and they thought they did but then he most likely started appearing in the pacific from were he started out as a dino but maybe the second nuclear attack made him stronger cause godzilla absorbs radiation and he attacks hawaii and then san fransisco and maybe even tokyo so yeah :) and the baby zilla at the end of 1998 was continued into godzilla the series wich should be called zilla the series.
@Gojira2014- That is a very good speculation. I think that will probably be the case. Btw I love that name you gave me :) Thx
The grim kaiju@ I think its like the fongus eggs in "Monsters" on those trees. But this time its a nest on a missle draining the missles radiation so the baby MUTO's in the eggs will survive tell they hatch. Without more radiation the hatchlings will keep dying. So that may be why they are fighting godzilla....to steal his nuclear energy for the survival of the MUTO race.
I hope this movie has no cheesy slogan or tagline. I think the images and titles speak for themselves. Makes the movie seem more confident.
Reality check time - they're rescue workers. I enlarged the image and increased the contrast, they're clearly two people wearing hi-viz orange jackets with the Scotchlite reflective strips, you can even make out the helmets and what appears to be breathing gear.

Mothra can indeed take water. In its caterpillar form, she swims to take on godzilla and other monsters.
Anyways it looks to me like it is a flashback scene where Serizawa is showing a black and white film of the event then it transitions to a first person perspective shot. You know kinda like he was playing the film then imagining in his head what it must've felt like to be there to witness it. Those shots are done all the time.
I'm pretty sure it looks like that because it is sped up slightly, if you look at the shoreline, the water it is also moving fast. I might be wrong, and it could just be the wind.
C'mon guys cgi this, cgi that, you do realize that when a trailer is first done it's usually months in advance when they select shots then edit them to be spliced together to form a trailer right? These are not complete and accurate representations of what the final shots will look like when the movie is released. I'm sure they will be working on this up until the Hollywood premiere sometime in early May. It will look much better when we see it on the big screen. Actually I'm betting it will look much better when you see the trailer in the theater on a giant screen. These shots were composed with big screens in mind not laptop monitors. Cgi always looks better on big screens on smaller screens it tends to look video game-ish. Relax and enjoy what we have so far we've been waiting an awful long time for this and I for one am elated to finally get something that lets me know that Gareth and company have this film headed in the right direction.
Good, but I still wanted a clearer shot of Godzilla face at least. The bunker scene was not showing his best angle. My 10-year old cousin was really exited for everything though, and he dies for to see the movie
if mothra cant take water what about aqua mothra
i now take it back
Dang saw the trailer like 30 times now since its been out and have not even realized it.
I feel down. lol
The images of sink holes released with the MUTO campaign might not actually be focused on in the film. It could be that they were just checking every sinkhole they could find as an exploration to see how far the infestation has spread around the world over the years.
I think the sinkholes are where the MUTOs nest is.
CGI typically gets a pass these days just because it's CGI-- most CG doesn't impress me, but I thought the shots in this movie looked perfectly fine. It's entirely possible that some of the shots aren't completely done yet. Most trailers feature unpolished special effects: X-Men: Days of Future Past, Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Transformers: Age of Extinction (which looked particularly shoddy) all had trailers with incomplete special effects.
That is a good guess. I agree.
hmmmm manda, intersting theory
I reckon it's a dead whale that Godzilla ate for breakfast ^.^
in my mind, i dont think it matters much weather that leaked rough script was real, so many things would have changed in the plot by now, so yea, if it doesm't fit godzilla, than i don't think its a godzilla
i dont know why everyone pays such little attention to the sinkholes, they are abviously very important to the plot! anyways, i think the sinkholes might lead to where godzilla and maybe some of the mutos come from, a hidden underground world. this could be a reference to the original movie because in that one the paleatologist, professor yamata, talks about deep pockets in the earth that contain unknown life, and theorizes that godzilla could have come from there.
you guys do realize that the article kind of just assumed 350 ft right? think about it, all the other info was from quotes, but not the 350 ft thing. the way they said it along with the fact that its such a perfectly rounded number makes me think that they were just generalizing godzillas size. remember, of you just round up from 332(godzillas biggest height in the movies so far) then you get 350. besides, if this movie is going with realism, then why wouldnt godzillas height be more random sounding, like 572 or 368 or something like that?
Look at the part in the trailer where the MUTO stomps the ground and releases a sonic blast from it's claw. I think it has something to do with that. They have some kind of sonic ablility.
