Cool but reminds me of 98 godzilla
There would be a list of people who would come home to a house-size pile of radioactive poop lovely placed upon their dwelling.
I would have to say 1985 when Godzilla falls into the volcana. I was sad for a while after I first and still am every time I watch it.
^Or he's a reference to another Ishiro Honda film: Ichiro from Godzilla's Revenge. Haha, I sincerely hope that connection pisses some overly serious fans off.

my mistake his first name is ICHIRO but must still be a homage to honda, it also proves that the name is only a homage to the character and has no conection to the 1954 character so people can shut up about the oxygen destoryer
Godkill2000,
There's only one Ford. His last name is Brody. His father's first name is Joe.
Ok for one which ford there's two and yes I think one of them will die
im actually just a beginner compared to guys like dopepope. this model has uneven poly distribution which is a noob mistake by me. gonna have to do a new lower mouth poly and teeth then combine.
^It says Ichiro Serizawa. But you're right, his name isn't Daisuke.
serizawa's full name confirmed to be Honda Serizawa, according to the field report on serizawa's folder
"abel the incident as a mine collapse natural causes to limit public disruption."
"pm: Exploratory Team began to descend into collape site."
Looks like Serizawa's file is open as well now. I can't quite make out what he's saying in the audio file though.
I wonder why they're unlocking these files a day at a time.
Great Zbrush work, you should put it up on Deviantart.com
i'm 18 and i shed a tear when i see the meltdown
yes, this is progressing quite nicely. good stuff
I would have to say godzilla vs destroyah but that was 3 years ago and I was 12 so yeah but it was sad
I just watched it it was a good episode
i don't mind cause I'm an American but that might affend some people so watch your words please Godzillasaurusrex
Jealousy overwhelms me.
(That sounded really dorky):/
I blame Big Macs and soda. He is also know for long bouts of inactivity.
Godzilla's screetch as he falls into the volcano is pretty pittiful sounding. But man, when he melts in GvsDR, that gets me. With the sad music and the attempt to revive Godzilla junior, and the military blasting away at him relentlessly as he is suffering....If you don't get at least a small tear in the corner of your eye, then you have no soul. I had to stop letting my son watch(although he love's the movie,) because he would burst into tears. That's even with me covering his eyes during the actual melting(which I thought was a bit much for a four year old.) Thankfully, he has just gotten to the point where he's fighting back the tears:-)
100% Godzilla vs Destoroyah, that is the sadest moment in the entire Godzilla saga. For God sake, he dies in that moment!!! The good thing is that, at the end, we can see Godzilla Jr not just alive, but with its "father" size and power thanks to the huge amount of radiation.
The final of 1985 don't impress me because at that time, I have allready saw Godzilla vs Biollante, so I allready knew that Godzilla will be only traped for a little time, that is all.
Good news for one side, but for the other side, you most remember that she is pregnant and the sensibility of women in that time is very elevated.
We will need to see the movie by ourselves, but I true believe that this future masterpiece will move not only or action nerve, but also our feelings.
The opinion of THEGMAN123 is the true. The weights of TOHO, in relation with the sizes of they kaiju, are the most realistic of all. The weighs or Pacific Rim are exageratelly small, an animal of that height and weight "Slattern" will be like a huge bear (3 m tall) with the weight of a jaguar (120 kg)!!! It will break itself with a single strike of Godzilla's tail.
The Godzilla 1985 made be cry, but that's because I was a child when I saw it.
I know we can make it TITANOZILLASAURUS, but i'm too dang excited!
Godzilla 2000's theme
I can definetley see improvements from last time.
Can't wait to see the finished product.
Send him to North Korea and make him take a big dump on their leader.
Yes, that's really what I would do.
Durp004, you actually make some decent points this time around, but you're still missing the forrest for the trees. By a lot. This is exactly what I'm talking about. Fans are so fixated on what it doesn't have that they don't see what it does have:The first time Ichiro imagines Godzilla fighting is as all stock footage, very true. Does it add to the initial development of Ichiro? In a way it does. Ichiro's first is merely establishing to the audience what is going on: He's dreaming. Could it have been segwayed into his arc? Perhaps, but the screenwriters felt that breaking it up would be a good opportunity to present other issues in his life: His overworking mother. And on the topic of stock footage, it's never stated in the film whether this story takes place in the Godizlla universe or ours. It could just be he's remembering the fights from movies he's watched. And if it does take place in the Godzilla series proper, he could just be remembering prior battles that were reported. Does it excuse the stock footage on a technical level? No, but sense it's a dream it's a little easier to buy.
And while Godzilla was grooming Minya to stand up for himself against Gabara, he's also not going to let anything happen to his own son-- at least in Ichiro's mind. Godzilla took over the battle against Gabara once Minya had finally proven himself. I don't see how that's contradictory in any way.
As for the end, yes, honking the horn was a bit much, but I want to point out he did apologize after the fact. In the end it really was just a harmless prank to show he was no longer afraid. I too think it could've been written and handled better in the film, but that still pales in comparison to the larger, more important victories:
He outwitted two robbers who were clear represenatives of desperation during the depression. Standing up to bullies is a little too direct of a message. What really happened is the kid learned to survive on his own in a time where he couldn't turn to his mother or father. After surviving a bout with two criminals don't you think he'd be a changed person? Anyone would in that situation: No parents to guide you. Everyone's worried about money. And your eight years old learning to fend for yourself.
The fact that his guidance through Godzilla/Minya is inconsistant and jumbled speaks on various levels: 1) It's not really Godzilla/Minya that's guiding him is it? It's himself. They're dreams he concocted as a defense mechanism. 2) You're right. In the grand scheme they don't matter very much. As I said, this isn't much of a Godzilla movie. He's simply used as a hook for more important dramatic points that are occuring in Ichiro's world.
If you take Godzilla out of this movie, you still have a great story. It's slightly flawed, but extremely well positioned and very bittersweet. I think "sending a message" is a little too niave to say about 90% of the movies. The story it's telling is more poigant than it is preachy and aims not to be a blueprint against bullies, but rather a snapshot of growing up in late 60s/70s Tokyo as a middle class young boy.
I'd go around the world to spread the glorious words of our Godzilla. And then threaten Godzilla's nuclear fury on the heretics!
Wowza! Fantastic Godzilla Himself!
