My friend is an actor and he was just cased for a new film “Don’t Shoot I’m the Guitar Guy”. Afterwards, he personally got to talk to the casting director, Nina Henninger. She’s not only the casting director for tons of great films, she also was the cast director of Godzilla! My friend being a Godzilla fan, he asked her some question about the film and if there was a possible other Godzilla in the works. She didn’t say there was going to be another Godzilla film BUT, she said Godzilla was going to apart of another movie called “Monster Island”. The film has been on the down low and its script and CGI is already in the works. Gareth Edwards and Legendary are apart of the project and there’s even a possibly of a teaser for it at the end of Godzilla’s credits! This information has only become knew to her because she’s starting the cast selecting (according to my friend).
This can be completely false but I a reason why this can be true. In many interviews and Q&A’s with Gareth Edwards, he’s said a sequel would be most likely a “Destroy all Monsters” remake. So I don’t see this being completely impossible!

i wouldnt get excited, i call bull.
BUT if you have proof that your friend is in that movie etc., then i might believe it more. but i doubt someone would tell something like that to a regular.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-26-2014 4:51 PMI can tell you right now this is bs. I work in casting, and Nina Henninger is a background/extra CD. Meaning she is the one who casts people to just run around, or lay dead on the ground. These are not credited roles. A background CD is someone who is brought in at the last minute, and picks people based on look only. Nina only cast the extras in San Francisco, so this is an even smaller part. They have almost nothing to do with the production of a film, and therefore wouldn't have access to sensitive studio information such as this.
If she did for some reason tell your friend this, I'm sure it was just water cooler gossip.

That being said, I don't put much faith in any of the other information you found or provided either. I think you were either trolled or simply given misinterpreted/miscommunicated information.
It's a common mistake now a days, especially among those who are on this stie. Sorry guys, but it's true. Still some cool stuff here for sure, don't get me wrong, but I don't trust much of anything on this site anymore unelss it's a report on something that was already confirmed or provided directly by Legendary.

this infomation doesn't sound too reliable and does seem like bs, seriously gareth edwards has kept repeating in interviews that they only focused on making 1 movie and 1 movie only, he's even said that the POSSIBILITY of a sequel is determined by the success of this movie.
