The April release date is for the original (Godzilla 1954 film) which will get a limited theatrical run at that time.
The runtime will not be 98 minutes also..
in the film he first appeared in 1954, so the military undoubtebly has a name for him. they dont need to explain where the name came from or how they got it, thats just what they call him. like Kong

It's not April, the Hollywood premiere of Godzilla is May 8th, the week before. It's pretty much debunked as a goof up.
when was the last time a major motion picture changed its release date less than 2 months before it is scheduled originally? plus, movies tend to come out on wednesdays or fridays

This is literally the easiest thing in the world to debunk. Google April 2014 movie releases. Go to the first result, movieinsider.com. You'll see there, plain as day, that the ORIGINAL Godzilla (1954) is getting its limited rerelease with Rialto starting that day. The runtime of that movie just happens to be 98 minutes. Google isn't perfect, it makes mistakes just like anyone. Do a bit of research for yourselves next time, guys.
