The MUTO here looks terrifying. The toys really didn't give it away but blimey that's one evil-looking creature! Very much in the vein of the Aliens from the Alien franchise - something of whuc I am totally fine with. :D

The US version was released a few minutes back by Legendary which is the same exact thing. 

I just use normal cheap art brushes from any craft store. I mix my own acrylics as well and start with dark washes of dark brown to dark grean and work up to dry brush highlights with salmon and bone colors. I sealed it with matte finish clear coat.

Ho Hum MUTO reveal actually. We've seen more detail in the toy for crying out loud. At least you get a feel for it's size. Since this is an international TV spot, maybe the US version will give us more. Either way, you wanna see the goods, you gotta pay the man (Gareth) on May 16th. We keep getting just enough to keep the drool flowing, and that's not a bad thing!

It's very hard to make out the muto? Wish someone can make an outline of the body to get a better view. But it's still awesome!!!!

And GODZILLA's spines are definately bigger in the movie.

Yeah the MUTOS are no where near thje size of GODZILLA so there's definately gotta be a bigger monster in the movie.

Perfect!! finally a more clear shot of the MUTO and my God that final shot of Godzilla , this couldnt be more bad ass . Godzilla looks damn scary! and what a surprise that this tv spot is in my mother language #SienteElRugido jaja , the people responsable of the marketing are doing a great job jaja! Excelente.

Ahh, just got home from camping and what do i find? A lovely look at the MUTO, some more scenes with Aaron and more. Thats a warm welcome.

But anyway, i really like this TV-spot. Its action packed, and it sells the movie. I love it.

MUTO is very underwhelming. And looks like a non threat for godzilla. I really hope they do better with the others. Btw it looks like the creature from Tremors just on steroids.

But to answer your question, I think any new franchise movie tends to get overrated due to fan hype and excitment. I mean, we already have people saying this will be the best Godzilla movie ever made without people having seen it.

I'm confident it will be a good movie, but lets not get ahead of ourselves. For the first year or so, many fans will be blinded by the fact that it's new and fresh while overlooking any possibile inconsistancies. It happened with past Godzilla movies. It's happened with Batman movies. Marvel movies... etc... etc...

The dance goes on.

is it just me or does the muto being trapped under those wires remind you of the 1998 movie when zilla was trapped on the bridge aha.  they even have the same position where their heads are tilted back and roaring.
