This one stomps all over the one I posted yesterday! http://www.godzilla-movies.com/community/forums/topic/32925
I think I need to take some notes!

Here's the link folks to the 4 images. Not sure if all 4 are showing up on this thread
Thanks for the kind words as well :)

Wish I knew how to do repaints like you. Because this is amazing.

What types of brushes did you use, and did you mix your own colors? What base colors did you use?

GbettersApril 01, 2014
I just use normal cheap art brushes from any craft store. I mix my own acrylics as well and start with dark washes of dark brown to dark grean and work up to dry brush highlights with salmon and bone colors. I sealed it with matte finish clear coat.

Looks A LOT better than those awful toys that have been released.
Deviation is not shameful. Conforming is.

Hello JUNKERDE,The flash was on for 2 of the shots so he may look a little lime greeny in those shots, especially the tail. The 3rd picture, the front shot of him is really the color he is. He is actually a really dark brownish green. Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Holy crap, that is an awesome paintjob! Looks really good, love how Godzilla looks in the pictures! Great job!
"Its a Tyrannosaurus."
"I don't think so... It sounds bigger. It sounds like death; the destroyer of worlds...."

Thank you SPINOJIRA! The scuplt is actually really good on this figure, but the one coat of dark blue/green has really lame. :/

How much for you to repaint mine? Seriously, this is awesome, I want to learn how to do this. Could you direct me to some online resources about the techniques you used for this? You may just have inspired me to bring out all the details in my otherwise drab, monochrome Godzilla.

That is a well done repaint.
You could probably plug those screw holes with some sculpy or something similar, if you're interested in hiding them.
He is 350ft Tall people, those things on his neck ARE gills, and the Brazil photo is part of the final advertising design-- Deal with it.
