MemberMothra LarvaeApr-01-2014 12:25 PMWish I knew how to do repaints like you. Because this is amazing.

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-01-2014 12:34 PMWhat types of brushes did you use, and did you mix your own colors? What base colors did you use?

Gbetters
MemberMothra LarvaeApr-01-2014 1:00 PMI just use normal cheap art brushes from any craft store. I mix my own acrylics as well and start with dark washes of dark brown to dark grean and work up to dry brush highlights with salmon and bone colors. I sealed it with matte finish clear coat.

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-02-2014 5:05 AMHello JUNKERDE,The flash was on for 2 of the shots so he may look a little lime greeny in those shots, especially the tail. The 3rd picture, the front shot of him is really the color he is. He is actually a really dark brownish green. Thanks everyone for the kind words.

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-03-2014 1:46 PMHow much for you to repaint mine? Seriously, this is awesome, I want to learn how to do this. Could you direct me to some online resources about the techniques you used for this? You may just have inspired me to bring out all the details in my otherwise drab, monochrome Godzilla.

Akagi
MemberMothra LarvaeApr-03-2014 3:21 PMThat is a well done repaint.
You could probably plug those screw holes with some sculpy or something similar, if you're interested in hiding them.
