GODZILLA (2014): More M.U.T.O. or Mystery Kaiju?

I can't say enough how thrilled, and how pleased, I am with this new enemy and its design. Sure, it's small, but that could possibly hint at one of two things, or possibly even both...
1) There will be more than just 2 M.U.T.O. Possibly hundreds of them!
2) There may be yet another monster, lying in hiding... Waiting... Waiting to surprise us all.
What do you guys think? Will there be more M.U.T.O. or is there something else lying in store us? OR, do you have a different theory? Share with me your thoughts everyone!
Note1: Please, let's refrain from #KaijuConfirmed posts. Those are everywhere and, quite frankly, we all find them annoying.
Note2: Theories people. That is why this is here. I want your theories!!!
I don't really believe in the possibility of another monster.
I clearly remember reading an article saying "there will be only two monsters". But I guess that's been lost in time.
It's possible there may be more MUTOs though if they successfully lay eggs somewhere secret.
"I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."
@Godzilla 2014 Rules- I believe you may have misunderstood my article my friend. Perhaps I worded something incorrectly? I will have to take a look at that. Also, of course you can follow me. It is entirely your decision, and I would be thrilled!
@Godzillasarus Rex- That is a perfect example of what I'm looking for with this article! Quite honestly, I don't believe much in the possibility of another monster either, and I do remember the article you are quoting. In all of my previous topics I have posted my own opinions after comments like this. I simply feel that mystery kaiju would be the best attention grabber, you see. Kind of tricky, but not entirely misleading.
people say that there is one Muto and that it transforms idk about that when i herd that thera was something Big in that HALO jump scene i first that the Mutos had a power to combine and shapeshift to another thing but i also think there is mor than one
Demplex. Thank you. You have made my day (and I've had a pretty iffy day mind you).
I think you might be on to something. A thing I noticed in that footage of the MUTO, which might just be my eyes playing tricks on me, is that this creature looks like it's trapped in some sort of web. After seeing toys of the spider-ish MUTO that makes sense, but assuming that they're the same species why would they attack each other? Hmm...
I don't think its that small I just think its a distant angle of it. Also if you watch the slow mo loop of it it appears to change colors and in the other thread about the Tv spot godzillasaurus rex uploaded two screenshots of the muto and it appears to change colors or go almost translucent.. Pretty interesting
I honestly think there will be a third surprise MUTO of around Godzilla's size that will give him a worthy fight or.......there would just be more MUTO's that haven't been revealed. I won't lie, I would be a bit disappointed if these were the only 2 MUTO's in the movie. Then again this is an origin story so I can't complain.
Im thinking the Muto can change color like a chameleon. Hence the grey color in daylight
i discuss this in an old discussion about the mutos evolve or something they start white and i guess they keep growing bigger and everything and remember the old airport scene thing back then the muto is white but in the toys they're black so they evolve or something but i guess it has something to do with nuclear radioation or something
and i already know whats the deal about muto eggs in the main trailer you'll see some kind of missile covered in tentacles holding orange shining balls (the eggs)
So, this particular MUTO is most definitely one of the two variations we've seen in the toys so far. However, it's still up for debate about which one it represents. They're obviously of the same general species, or at least related heavily, but I have a feeling that this captured MUTO may be the flyng variety, since it seems like it would be the smaller version of the species, and the fact that taking out an aerial creature mid-flight would leave it more vulnerable than normal, thus alloing easier capture.
I thought Gareth answered the question that whatever those bulbus things were sucking on the nuke in the main trailer weren't eggs.
I can't wait to see these Mutos in action. I'm loving their design! Here's what I think is smart about these monsters, and if they play their cards right, they can use them to bring to life all the other established Toho monsters in films to come. Assuming this film does well and ensures sequels, the muto monsters could eventually mutate more into such kaiju as Gigan, Megalon, Ebirah, or even Orga. They'd keep all the new kaiju in this realistic universe instead of having to have the outlandish origin stories they had. They can have these generic muto monsters always be around, like nuisances, but every now and then one or two pop up like PacRim LVL 4 kaiju, with even crazier features and abilities. They could even have versions of the Muto Monsters being bioengineered to be controlled and work for mankind to help destroy Godzilla. This could turn into stories of failures going haywire and producing horrible monstrosities like Biollante, Destroyah, etc.

Its obviously rodan and destoroyah wrestling.
Do you guys think if there was another monster in this film that we wouldn't have seen a toy of it by now? Toys give away pretty much every character and detail that is going to be in a film and we've seen squat-- only two mutos.
This is obviously the winged muto.
I believe DopePope is really on to something with what he said. In fact, now that I really think about it, these creatures do have some resemblance to other kaiju (possible because of how they were created by their designers).
@Akagi- I respect your thoughts, but I don't think it is neseccary to shoot down things like this simply because of a few hunks of plastic don't support it. In fact, that is quite ludicrous.
