Maybe that's it. It sounds absurdly, Hollywood generic--No identity at all with the creature its coming from.
The OG Godzilla and Legendary, but I haven't seen enough of the movies from the other series. I actually have a bit of a soft spot for the 1998 one.... BUT AS IT'S OWN KAIJU NOT FRIGGIN GODZILLA!!!!! It is Zilla, not Godzilla. I wish they could find a way to bring Zilla into the Monsterverse. Maybe as Godzilla's child..... somehow... or just as an ancestor to Godzilla's species. It'd be really cool. Still, not as good as any of the movies I've seen from ANY of the series.
You know... the problem with leaks... especially for this movie... is that it's turning the hype level way up... and I might just have to see it 3 times instead of 2 times. Thank for this. It looks fabulous.

It derails the topic and cuts the discussion short if they assume you have insider knowledge - of which you do not. Rodan's roar is a bit too high pitched. If they lowered the pitch a bit it would likely sound more authentic.
Building on what TheGMan123 said about Ghidorah being forward oriented, I think the tails might be used to hold off an attack from behind and give Ghidorah time to turn around.
Let's not completely deride things though.
I personally thought it was okay on its own.
The King of the Monsters: And as students we have it drummed into us that plagerism is the no.1 sin in writing. Well, guess some of us seem to have forgotten that. I don't think it's worth the time and money to sue them, maybe just send a note that they got the stuff from your site and you would appreciate if they provide the proper credit for that.
G. H. (Gman): Yeah, I have to agree, doesn't sound like Rodan to me, at least the classic Rodan roar. Hopefully, the full roar will be closer to his traditional roar.
Hopefully they all congregate into something that actually sounds like Rodan in the movie.

Just so long as they didn't have cheesy 'pre-historic cavemen' interacting with Godzilla. Like a real ancient society or people, that would be okay.
FireRodan93: There could be flashback to ancient times while the main focus of the story is present, that might work better.

In terms of design, the 2002 design, but my favorite Godzilla incarnation is probably the Legendary one.

But they're also relatively thin, and the spikes are retractable and also very thin themselves. Ghidorah himself is quite forward-oriented. He has better reach and maneuverability towards his front.
Then again, he can also stretch, twist, and swivel his heads a great many degrees, so perhaps that's not too much of an issue.

The fact they took it from WZ isn't an issue, in fact I'm a staff member on WZ, it's that they directly copied all of the monsters' alternate names and subtitles word-for-word from their infoboxes and didn't attribute it to the site at all.
The other information on that magazine page isn't copied from Wikizilla at least, if it was it would be more accurate than what it says.
It's only a small snippet that's closely followed by other more familiar sounds.
Really disappointed in Rodan's roar. Doesn't sound anything like him.

Mine are GMK, KiryuGoji, FinalWarsGoji, HeiseiGoji ('91 and '95), LegendaryGoji (2014 and 2019), and (as a guilty pleasure) '98 [also known as Zilla].
