I heard that Godzilla 2014is supost to be 645 ft. : whitch is 200 m.
i think...(this is my opinion and you may disagree) they should do a Super godzilla, destroy all monster melee, and save the earth, mix type game but only about the movie........(quick side note the should have a 1st person shooter part with the M.U.T.O.'s & Ford Brody. Now that would be cool)....with a really cool soundtrack
Hey now... Destroy All Monsters Melee was a good game at the time it came out... and the graphics were actually quite impressive at the time of it's release. Sure they haven't held the test of time but you have to look at it for how it was when it came out! Don't be hatin. And I sure hope so... but considering we haven't had a game announced yet I'm kinda hoping they do what they did with the Arkham games... the games came out during the Batman trilogy but weren't based off it but were instead based in the overall universe and were all amazing... if they did something similar with Godzilla it could be amazing. It just needs a creative studio.

"You people do know that a lot of studios have been advertising at the Super Bowl less and less each year, right? Warner Bros. isn't advertising any of their movies, because they're one of the studios that realizes that paying $1-$4 million for a 30 second TV spot is insane. Last year Paramount Pictures admitted that it wasn't worth it and they wish they had not advertised Star Trek during the Super Bowl. The only reason the Transformers TV spot is a big deal is because it's the movie's first trailer. We've already had a first trailer for Godzilla. (By the way Transformers is NOT one of Godzilla's biggest competitors because its being released over a month after Godzilla.) Studies have shown audiences are 70% more likely to remember a Doritos commercial during the Super Bowl than a movie trailer. As for Pacific Rim. The marketing leaders for Pacific Rim were fired late last year. The same people are not promoting Godzilla."
Wow, I had no idea about that. You actually do make good points. I completely forgot that Star Trek:Into Darkness advertised during the Super Bowl. It goes to show you that the Superbowl is not the best place to advertise. When you think about it, most Superbowl trailers are really not much. I mean, the films get more exposure, but at the same time, most audiences care more about the advertisements than the trailers like you said. It is probably good that Godzilla is not on one of the time slots. Also, I am glad to hear that the marketing team got fired. They should have released alot more content to promote the film. Instead, all audiences got was three trailers and a featurette which were all mostly released online.
should they have a X-PLUS GODZILLA 2014 TOY i mean seriosly only 2 people have commented on this
Sally Hawkins was joking keep on watching the interview she says that he has no control or something close to that i cant rember
@Daikaiju_Danielle I know, but im revising the post
If Godzilla is really eating people, then the movie might be rated R. hopefully Sally Hawkins is just jokeing. Varan The Unbelivabe can you belive this.
I know a lot of people will disagree with me but, what is Godzilla had green atomic breath. Now that would be awesome
Daimajin. I love the movies, and the character itself.
I honestly think Radioactive will be the song. It can't get any closer than that when we're talking about Godzilla
I hope so it better be like save the earth and DAMM
No Mr.Hopkins I do not have youtube account but I do see your videos a lot.
He spit he did not swallow
Nah thats about like the whole urban myth that GODZILLA ate trains and as we all know he never ate a train in his life.
Hmmmm its went down ten-bucks since then
Gamera, easily. The creature won my heart over with the Gamera trilogy and had great deal of character depth for a giant monster. It might just be my love for those three movies, but they worked to make me really adore Gamera.
For me it's a tie between The Legion and Irys from the Gamera series. Legion is just a really interesting monster to me and they're probably my favorite insectoid kaiju. Irys is just pure badass and I honestly think he could take on Godzilla himself
The director stated that this movie will feature the most realistic atomic breath we've ever seen, not quite sure what that entails. He never confirmed the color of the beam, but I think for the sake of old Gojira fans, it'll be blue.
It's always possible that the official TV trailer isn't finished yet guy, keep in mind that it's still in post-production, they MAY get a slot, they may not. Who know's. But I do know the trailer we seen was a mood piece.
to bad because millions of people watch the superbowl.
@KAIJUGROUPIE84, in any case i thought that your godzilla art is really awesome, keep up the great work!
^GDT has a strong following, but it's not because of Hellboy. Hellboy II underperformed at the box office which is why we're probably not going to get a Hellboy III.
There is no informatoin yet regarding a game, but given that most games based on large budget films don't do well, I doubt Legendary will take the chance.
Creating a game based on Godzilla is INCREDIBLY difficult because of what he looks like, how he moves, what he can do, and all of the intricacies invovled with bringing such a creature to life within a realistic world without turning into another annoying and poorly constructed brawl game with bad graphics. I'll be honest, I have intensely disliked the Godzilla games like Godzilla: Save the Earth, Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, and Godzilla unleashed. They all had bad graphics, poor gameplay, and no story that hasn't been used to death already.
Making a game based on the new movie would be expensive, risky, and incredibly difficult. One thing that we all have to remember is that a game isn't a movie. There are many, MANY more limitations to what a game can accomplish compared to a movie. Again, I doubt Legendary will take the risk of making a game just because the movie did well. It's not a smart business choice to make a game based on one movie, even if it is a success.
The image of the toy is still out there for those who don't know. Just look up 'Godzilla 2014' and narrow the search to within the last week and it will be somewhere near the top. The quality of the one given usually isn't great, so search the size and you should find some others that are even bigger in size and much clearer.
Anyway, he looks like Godzilla. That's the only thing we really need to know at this point.
Re Pac Rim firings, that's interesting, didn't know that! I just read that Grown Ups 2 is a top nominated Razzie contender. Didn't that movie beat out PR by $2M on opening day? I mean the genre is not everyone's cup of tea, but GTD has a following after the Hellboy films, among others.
this is what i like about you GMAN2887, your more open minded than most people is see on this site.
Personally, I would like to hear Radioactive by Imagine Dragons during the ending credits.
@Daikaiju Danielle, I don't think we have to worry, it seemed that she was just saying it in a general sense of a monster, very jokingly.
I think the general public is voting on that poll, but as you said there's also a large fanbase for the other movies voting hard.
The thing is Guardians of the Galaxy is largely unknown by general audiences as well and likely to get buried by a lot of blockbusters by the time it's released in August. Spider-Man 2's word-of-mouth is getting worse by the day, but that doesn't explain Captain America 2.
On the other hand I've run in to plenty of people who didn't know these movies were coming out this year...

Pacific Rim being a prime example. Everything's so hush-hush top secret, by the time it comes out, no one even realizes what it is.
