Thats Ford Brody(Aaron Johnson) jumping of a railroad track. It is, however a cliff WITH a railroad. My guess is that he was on the train carrying the nuclear bomb we saw footage of all the way back in late 2012/early2013, which was then cut off by either Godzilla or one of the MUTO monsters

If you look closely, you can see something brake by Fords right side. Looks wood-like.

I dont think itll be Godzilla that made Ford Brody jump, I bet its a Muto monster, and it was even on a railroad track and we found out that it was a Muto ripping the train apart, so its probably near that scene
