I also got the new Official Guide to the King of the Monsters. Granted, most of us here could've written it. But it's a great beginner's guide to show friends interested in the series. And finally, Norman England's book about his on set stories during the filming of the Gamera Trilogy, Godzilla 2000, Godzilla vs. Megaguirus and GMK! Read most of this in a book store--It was an intimate and fascinating look into the production of these films and I'm happy to finally own it.
The only Godzilla related item I got this year was a copy of the Godzilla vs Kong artbook.
I also got a pretty cool statue of a Kraken/Giant Octopus attacking a ship, which technically could count as a kaiju/giant monster related item.
A late gift came in from a friend. I don't collect MonsterArts much, but having a Godzilla Ultima is definitely a top tier gift. Looks great on top of my movie shelf.
