Movie Tournament FINAL ROUND - Godzilla '54 X Ghidorah: The Three Headed Monster

GMAN2887 - Ugh! This is dreadful! How am I supposed to pick?! Hmm. After careful - and painful - consideration, I will cast my vote in favor of Gojira '54. Gah! That was terrible! I had a wonderful time with this tournament! Thank you so very much for sharing this excellent entertainment with us! :)

I'm going to go with Godzilla (1954).

Damn... if I'd actually been aware of this and voted, Godzilla vs. Biollante vs Ghidorah would have at least been a tie. Can't believe THAT was even close. Oh well... Gojira for the win. The better film all across the board. At least it doesn't have monsters in crude "wrestling-esque" dialogues. "Why should we protect humans?" "Yeah! They're mean to us!" -Face Palm-.

I was actually a little concerned Biollante would topple Ghidorah no problem. I'm glad to see Ghidorah was judged fairly for its story, characters and craft. I like Biollante, but I think Ghidorah rightfully edges it out.

And say what you want about the monster conference--It was awesome! Right in line with the tone of the 1960s and Honda's penchant for mass unity.

And just HOW in the hell did GMK beat Terror of MechaGodzilla?! Really?!

Seems like a pretty close match-up to me. But given the fan following GMK has, how exactly is that surprising?

Ghidorah the 3 Headed Monster. Might lack in some places but I have a more fun time watching it than I do the original, even if the original might be a better crafted film.

Godzilla '54 all the way. The first, the best.
