Some people prefer G98 over G2014 because it show more zilla than Godzilla and the military does something more in G98 than the military does in G2014.

i'm confused by this; are you stating this or are you wondering if it's the case with some people..?

I for one enjoyed G98 a good deal, but it's for different reasons

So what? Let people enjoy what they enjoy. Besides, we are getting sequel, they arent.

I actually liked the 98' concept myself, but the 2014 version i like more.

Yep, people have a right to enjoy any movie they want to. We the fans know that G14 is better for us and we don't need to judge anyone for what they like.
