Before i answer, let me guess-You noticed those two names in the IMDb trivia section didnt you? (Not blaming you or anything, im just curious).
Personally, no, i loved Aaron as Ford. I found him too be a delightfull character and well played. Cavill would have been second choice between these three. Levitt? Not a fan.

im with Zillahater, Henri Cavill would've been nice, but we didnt want Superman vs Godzilla, thats a battle for another time, yet we all know who will come out on top (if you think Superman, your not a true Godzilla fan ;)
Remember that chap, I forget his name, he climbed Everest without any oxygen, came down nearly dead. They asked him, they said, "Why did you go up there to die?"
He said, "I didn't, I went up there to live."

Sorry people, Aaron's character was worth nothing and his acting also didn't fulfill what someone would really act like if monsters were fighting in a city tearing down buildings.
To get Superman or Robin to play as the leading role for Godzilla's sequel, that I would not mind, at least they're good enough actors, mostly JGL

Characters are nothing but dead. The actor is the one that needs to bring the character to life, similar to how we wouldn't have had a more effective Joker in the Dark Knight if Heath Ledger wasn't immersed in his role.
To me, Aaron Taylor is simply a frustration to watch. It's like he wants to let out his emotions but he's keeping it because the director wants him to act like a tough military guy and keep it built up inside. But its not working with the audiences - no surprise here that Aaron T is seen as one of the weakest links in the human cast that the film loves to focus so much attention on unfortunately. To put it crudely, Aaron's acting looks like he is suffering from constipation throughout the movie. He needs to let the shit of out his bowels. Lol.
